Anyone hear on her recovery? Hoping she is back in the gym to a degree.

I haven’t heard anything. Like everyone on here, I’m hoping she can return and physically be the player she was 2 years ago before this horrible luck befell her.
At least she doesn’t have a 3rd knee that could blow out next season! 😃

Another new article on Weidner's return. Interesting note is that if there's an ACL injury on one knee....

Females who receive ACL reconstruction surgery are six times more likely to injure their opposite knee within 24 months after the surgery than someone who never tore an ACL.

During her full freshman season she really displayed her athleticism.  She set the WBB vertical jump record and showed her speed on the court.  Then off to a great second year until the injury caused by the stupid location of a camera man on a cart under the basket.  I hope and pray that she gets back a majority of her skills and continues to improve and display her leadership and 3 point shooting.

what is the WBB vertical jump record?

Actually...Peaches James (softball) has the women's vertical jump record at 31 inches.  For basketball Nicea Eliely holds the record at 24.5 inches.

Now, the source of this information is from Nebraska Power, and I'm uncertain on when it was last updated.

My info was Allison in a video with her teammates cheering her on during her freshman season.  I didn't ever read about the height.  Could be wrong but I thought they said it was a record.
