Long story short, his coach at Manhattan was canned today and he is now in the transfer portal. Washut liked a tweet from some guy that says we reached out. Pre season MAAC POY who averaged 19 ppg, 3.2rpg, and 4.5 apg last year

Seems like the type of player we need to avoid at this point. High volume, very low efficiency (sounds familiar). Poor three point shooter. A lot of turnovers. Wasn't in the rotation on a bad Marquette team two years ago.

Just to set the record straight he was supposed to redshirt at Marquette but injuries forced him to play. Also transferred to be close to his mom who has/had cancer. Doubt he leaves the East Coast

Guy can pass the ball and get to the FT line but I'd agree. He's a 6'5" post player so it's not a good fit for us.

Given we don't have an open scholarship there is a slim chance he could be a guy we try and snag if someone gets injured before december.

The NCAA hands out waivers nowadays easier than I hand out Halloween candy. So it wouldn’t surprise me to see him eligible wherever he ends up.

He's been in college for 4 years so there is a pretty good chance he is a grad student
