12dozen Posted March 4, 2022 Report Posted March 4, 2022 Nebraska will face Michigan in the fourth and final game of the day at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Friday, with an approximate tip time of 7:30 p.m. (CT). Live television coverage will be provided by the Big Ten Network. I assume normal radio coverage options are available. I'll update this later, if/when the preview is posted on Huskers.com. Go Lady Huskers!! Red Don 1 Quote
Cazzie22 Posted March 4, 2022 Report Posted March 4, 2022 This game is the B1G one. Need everyone to be on their game. Not likely to hold Hillmon to a few points but keep the rest of the team from beating us. Red Don 1 Quote
12dozen Posted March 4, 2022 Author Report Posted March 4, 2022 (edited) Based on last game minutes, it looks like Amy is comfortable with Craven, Cayton, and Moriarity, providing most of the bench relief. What a luxury to have Bella as 6th Lady. When Stewart knocks the rust off, she will be another nice option. Ruby always gives good effort. I've been wondering about Coley minutes lately. When she did get in last night, she seemed a bit lost. Even defense was off. Not sure what she is going through. Anyway, in Amy I will trust. GBR Edited March 4, 2022 by 12dozen Red Don 1 Quote

whoopdeedoo Posted March 4, 2022 Report Posted March 4, 2022 wasn't sure where to put this... The thing I appreciate about Nebraska women's basketball is the players have a an understanding of what decisions and behaviors give them the best chance to win. Red Don Posted March 5, 2022 Report Posted March 5, 2022 How come we always get a foul called against us in the paint, but Michigan seems to play foul free mwm89, NUtball and The Cornfather 1 2 Quote

MontanaHusker Posted March 5, 2022 Report Posted March 5, 2022 So Bella gets hit, is out of bounds in pain, but the refs don’t stop play until she’s all the way down the court with blood on her face? Hmmm NUtball and mwm89 1 1 Quote
Red Don Posted March 5, 2022 Report Posted March 5, 2022 Hillmon's foul holding Shelley's Leg should have been called intentional. mwm89 and NUtball 1 1 Quote
Red Don Posted March 5, 2022 Report Posted March 5, 2022 (edited) Halftime Stats: 1st Qtr all Nebraska; 2nd Qtr all Michigan. Fasten your seat belts fellas; It's going to be a Woolly Second Half. Personal Fouls and FT Discrepancy are beginning to look like the IOWA STEAL! Edited March 5, 2022 by Red Don 12dozen 1 Quote
hskr4life Posted March 5, 2022 Report Posted March 5, 2022 2nd Quarter was awful. Absolutely awful. We better find a way to get some shots here soon. Also-- I said it when they played in Lincoln and I'll say it again. Leigha Brown is pretty annoying. Don't remember her being like that when she was here I guess. mwm89, NUtball and MontanaHusker 1 2 Quote
12dozen Posted March 5, 2022 Author Report Posted March 5, 2022 Looks like 8 against 5. 10 fouls vs 5. Not exactly an Iowa repeat, but there is another half to go. The Cornfather and mwm89 2 Quote
mwm89 Posted March 5, 2022 Report Posted March 5, 2022 (edited) Well what can you say except a really good 1st q turned into an even worse 2nd! Hopefully at halftime they can reset and restratagize. GBR! Let's come out and get this done! Edited March 5, 2022 by mwm89 Quote

I didn’t watch Basketball much when she was at Nebraska so I know nothing about her departure. But she definitely seems to play with a huge chip on her shoulder against Nebraska. mwm89 1 Quote
