I wish Teddy the best but there was some stat discussion.  The picture that stats cannot paint is your ability to make your team better.  He didn't excel in that area.  I think we can all agree on that.

It really shows that I know so little about talent evaluation. It also proves why, as a high school volunteer assistant, the real coaches allowed me only to keep stats and keep track of timeouts. "They don't have any left, coach. We have two." That was me.

yeah back when I coached Sophomore football, I got to be the get back coach at Varsity games when I wasn’t scouting.
