Huskers Go Head-to-Head with Hawkeyes Thursday
The Nebraska women's basketball team returns home to Pinnacle Bank Arena to take on Iowa Thursday night in a key Big Ten battle. Tip-off between the Huskers (9-7, 7-6 Big Ten) and Hawkeyes (10-6, 6-6 Big Ten) is set for 7 p.m. (CT).

*********

Iowa is a good team overall. Have scorers at the guard position as we all know. The big's are bruisers...physical. Not really tall but linebacker style of play. We'll have to fight back or it could be a long day.

Indiana had their way with them at times in their last game. Quicker.

Put your best defender on Clark. She can score in bunches. Must slow her down and make the rest of team score.

defense will be key.........i think the odds of a high scoring game favor iowa. i'm thinking huskers probably need to keep iowa in the 70's. Caitlin Clark will most likely get hers.......however, need to keep Czinano in check. think it spells trouble if you let those two combine for 45+. can't forget about Warnock...potential to score also.

i think huskers really have a good shot for a "W"......but, defense will win this game. hope they are ready.

The story here may be Iowa's defense. or lack there of. They're last in the B1G in most major stats.

Our slow down game is to our benefit.  Hold down their offensive possessions.
