We're running out of gas.  Maryland spreads their minutes like we do.  Not often, our opponent is the fresher team late.  They have a deep, talented roster.

Well, Maryland is always going to be tough for us.  We really need to win these two home games coming up.

Final Stats:    Seriously over-matched; just like each of the eleven prior games where the two teams have met!

 

A good thing we won't see 'em again this season.

20 turnovers......the difference...led to 29 pts for Maryland. We kind of ran out of gas....just couldn't catch up the whole game. Maybe was a little discouraged because we  couldn't keep up.

1st qtr was a killer. The game was closer than the final score. Away games are tough.

 

We shot fairly well really.  Cain couldn't get a shot off. They were after her big time.

 

Maryland just has a talented squad. Very deep.

 

Rest up girls and regroup for the next one.

I agree.  They will need our support.  We need to win at home and maybe get a road win or two somewhere.

We have enough ladies 6' 2" or better for Cain and another to play off of one another, or to have a better inside game.  For whatever reason we don't see it much at all.

That is a unacceptable inside game production wise.  Couple that with the turnovers and it's pretty tough to win on the road.

Best dial up the physicality in practice.

It has been discussed here on this board about Brown either starting or seeing more court time. IMHO she needs to be around 30-32 minutes a game. We need her on the floor. Our threes kept it from getting out of hand early. Leigha is capable of doing so many good things for us for her to be around the 24-25 minute range does not help us. We got back into the game in the third because of her play. Also Bourne is really coming into her own. As our most gifted 4-5 we need her on the court more as well.
