Points in the Paint now 32-12! cautious.png    FG shooting 47.8 vs 39.5! We won't win this way. image.gif.a995938a4ffde691e8da4601196725af.gif
Yeah but a lot of that percentage is there getting lay up somewhere or not it'd be different if they were shooting at outside the lane

Rutgers and Maryland are always going to trouble our squad.  Kate has been shut out.  Missed the first half so my comments are based on just the last quarter and a half.

Well we controlled the first 19:30 of the first half. then Nebraska did what Nebraska does at the end of the quarters. to let Rutgers get the lead. And it was down hill from there.

A Bridge Just a Little Bit Too Far  :Redface:  (but we're getting there :nod:).

Rutgers makes you uncomfortable enough that it disrupts your shooting enough that you don't make it & wind up with FTs (if you are lucky enough to get a call)!  @Actualfacts1 is Right; we need to get a little more 'dog' in us and Make those Contested Shots (and get '& Ones') instead of just settling for FTs.

On to Maryland!   :Cheer2::Cheer2::Cheer2:

Just comical.  The main thing Rutgers wants to do is shoot inside and around the lane. It's been that way for as long as we've been in the conference basically.  Where did probably (without looking at stats) 80% of their shots come from? Exactly where they wanted them to.

imo, huskers seem to have a history (well, recent) of having difficulty with opponents defensive pressure. i just don't think it is going to be pretty against maryland. their record is a bit shaky, but, that pressure has got to be one of the best in the country. it kept them in the game against iowa, but, their shooting was horrendous for the most part.

watching indiana-iowa. indiana is good. although, doyle keeping the hawkeyes in the game.

Too many TO's and our bigs let the Rutgers physicality intimidate them.

17 TOs way too big of a number and our starting bigs did not see the charity stripe once.

That being said, save the last 30sec of the 2nd and the entire third quarter, we played as well as I could have hoped for.
