Nebraska Head Basketball Coach Fred Hoiberg mentioned yesterday the back-to-back 1958 victories against No. 4 Kansas and No. 1 Kansas State, calling the victory against KU "probably ... the best win in the history of Nebraska basketball."

I'm going with the 1994 Big 8 Tournament title game against Oklahoma State.

Here's some candidates: '88 over Danny Manning & National Champion Kansas, '94 Big 8 Tournament over Missouri, who was the 1st team to go 14-0 in Conference play, '82 over #1 ranked Mizzou in Colombia, '65 (?) over Cazzie Russel & top ranked Michigan. Lastly, '91 over Steve Smith & #5 Michigan St began the run of four straight NCAA tournaments.

I know it was recent, but I feel like it must at least be mentioned. The 93-91 OT win over Iowa was a pretty good, lasting memory of the Miles era. And, yes, I know it only helped guarantee that Nebraska wouldn't have a losing record in 2018-19. But, after NU had already lost 11 of 13, that particular Senior Day victory was a sweet comeback. I'm really not saying it's the "Best One" ever, but it's the best one *recently.
