AuroranHusker Posted May 3, 2017 Report Posted May 3, 2017 Interesting, didn't hear another word about it in Omaha. Quote
49r Posted May 3, 2017 Report Posted May 3, 2017 it wouldn't surprise me at all if UNO didn't make much of a pitch to try and join the MVC really Summit is probably just as good now and the travel is much less for them so what's the point? Quote

If Darren Hansen had any Div 1 sons they'd be that much closer to joining the Big East. Quote
AuroranHusker Posted May 9, 2017 Report Posted May 9, 2017 (edited) Valpo is it. Interesting to note that Valpo's football program will remain in a non-scholarship Pioneers league rather than jump to the "Mo Valley Football Conference." http://www.fcs.football/cfb/story.asp?i=20170509122125238976504 Edited May 9, 2017 by AuroranHusker Quote
Cowboy Kermit Posted November 30, 2017 Report Posted November 30, 2017 Mavs took down the Fighting Farokhmaneshs last night in Omaha to get their first win of the season. They have a brutal non con slate where they also had their first 7 games on the road. They also will see Drake again in a little over a week in Des Moines, because I guess playing teams twice in the same year is a new thing in Mid Major ball. Quote
Chuck Taylor Posted December 16, 2017 Report Posted December 16, 2017 Going to be a rough year for the Mavs if Hahn can't come back. They don't have the firepower to overcome their weak defense. Quote
AuroranHusker Posted December 18, 2017 Report Posted December 18, 2017 Mavs play at KU tonight. Quote

Bugeaters1 Posted December 19, 2017 Report Posted December 19, 2017 The Maves are hanging toughso far. Did anyone chace what Dan Dakich said about the reffing. He basicly said that when a team like UNO plays a team like Kansas, and the money that Kansas plays the refs, that the game will be one sided in call. because Billy would go ape shit if it didn't. hskr4life Posted December 19, 2017 Report Posted December 19, 2017 Sometimes I am like. How is UNO 3-10. Then there are spurts where I am like... Oh my goodness if they are not making shots, this team could get the heck beat out of em. Bugeaters1 1 Quote
49r Posted December 19, 2017 Report Posted December 19, 2017 boy it's just 3 point shooting practice for KU tonight. Bugeaters1 1 Quote
HuskerFever Posted December 19, 2017 Report Posted December 19, 2017 It's funny how I can watch a UNO game like this one and feel bad for the guys. Sure would be nice to see them be competitive. On the otherhand when I watch a Creighton game, it's only because we're playing them... because I don't care how they do otherwise. Bugeaters1 1 Quote
HuskerFever Posted December 19, 2017 Report Posted December 19, 2017 Commentators after showing the KU win over Nebraska: "I know Nebraska's not a good team." "Miles would make a great Summit League coach." Quote
