If Darren Hansen had any Div 1 sons they'd be that much closer to joining the Big East.

Valpo is it. Interesting to note that Valpo's football program will remain in a non-scholarship Pioneers league rather than jump to the "Mo Valley Football Conference."

Mavs took down the Fighting Farokhmaneshs last night in Omaha to get their first win of the season. They have a brutal non con slate where they also had their first 7 games on the road. They also will see Drake again in a little over a week in Des Moines, because I guess playing teams twice in the same year is a new thing in Mid Major ball.

The Maves are hanging toughso far. Did anyone chace what Dan Dakich said about the reffing. He basicly said that when a team like UNO plays a team like Kansas, and the money that Kansas plays the refs, that the game will be one sided in call. because Billy would go ape shit if it didn't.

It's funny how I can watch a UNO game like this one and feel bad for the guys. Sure would be nice to see them be competitive. On the otherhand when I watch a Creighton game, it's only because we're playing them... because I don't care how they do otherwise.
