Sure, the end was absolutely brutal, but I was really proud of how hard the kids fought. These young pups are very hot and cold with execution, but I'm not sure anyone can question their heart at this point. They were dog tired. Let's get a win in a couple days and be back to a winning record in conference--something I'm pretty sure all of us would've been thrilled to have at this point in the season. Huskerpapa Posted January 20, 2017 Report Posted January 20, 2017 For me it is difficult to pinpoint any one loss. Every loss, and especially any home loss is heartbreaking. Sure, there are some that you expect to lose. When you win those, perhaps they are the most exciting. But any home loss is tragic and difficult to live with. Heck, when we lost to Gardner-Webb I was shocked, pissed, confused and thought any chance for the NCAA tournament was lost. So heck... Quote
