whoopdeedoo Posted April 1, 2016 Report Posted April 1, 2016 http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=espn:15107092 watching the video didn't sway me to agreeing with her. having said that, i really haven't thought about lowering the basket in the women's/girls game at all. the one thing that comes to mind, wonder the consequences of trying to adjust to a lower basket? don't know, maybe it wouldn't take the players long. btw, the dunk has never really impressed me. i think there are many more skills in basketball that impress me more than a dunk. delle donne tries to argue there are more advantages than the dunk, though. huskerchode Posted April 1, 2016 Report Posted April 1, 2016 Personally I have felt they should raise the rim for men and lengthen the court. Quote
Bugeaters1 Posted April 1, 2016 Report Posted April 1, 2016 I'm with you whoopdeedoo leave the game as it is. I like the fact that women need the basic skills to succeed. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk whoopdeedoo 1 Quote
redsteve Posted April 1, 2016 Report Posted April 1, 2016 Personally I have felt they should raise the rim for men and lengthen the court. Thought that for quite a while...men pros to 12'...maybe men's college to 11' Quote
Cazzie22 Posted April 2, 2016 Report Posted April 2, 2016 The smaller ball has been what has improved the women's game. Lowering the basket would take away some credibility from the game. Actualfacts1, whoopdeedoo and Bugeaters1 3 Quote
