Brady should play 13 minutes in the 2nd half I’m not saying Tanner should never play again but in this game Brady needs to be on the floor over him as much as possible.

The refs haven’t been that bad. Going to get called when you give up offensive rebounds. And no really terrible calls.

I don't think they were overly negative against us. In the grand scheme of things we aren't really anything special so I don't really expect them to say that.

Its an effect of the rule changes in the NBA. Because the defense can't be nearly as physical now as they used to (last year not it the 90's I swear if someone says they were more physical in the 90's ?) they decided to level the playing field for the defense by calling more charges. Its clear that this is drifting downstream from this thread.

It's possible I could be wrong about the offensive side but I will say defensively Thomas was 7-8 for 16pts in 22 min he was really good and really strong and we did not play good D vs him. And Roby was guarding him almost every minute he was out there.

It's been pretty incredible how many bad calls he has been called for. Charges should not exist see the last podcast episode. But also if Roby isn't called for that foul Thomas has a free lay-up and that doesn't disprove the other two points I made.

His last one was for trying to get a rebound against Thomas (bad call though) his first one was for getting kick in the face by Thomas (doesn't really count) and he definitely had to let him go on at least one I think two basket late in the game. I also just think he would be able to score better on whoever the other guy was right?

Whatever Miles is doing to keep him out of foul trouble is not working. Yesterday he specifically put Roby in and out exactly when their good big guy was in. I don't understand that if you don't want someone to foul the worst possible move is to put that player on the other teams elite and physical post player. Am I wrong because $2+ million in coaches salary says otherwise but I don't get it.

Didn't he not play/ leave the team for a season? Either way I'm sure he's enjoying his senior season and maybe wouldn't want to play next year anyway. Definitely don't know anything but when you didn't for basketball to be your life going into college it might be fine by him to end it after 4 years?

Again I probably shouldn't have used that wording in the question. My bad. But anyway I would disagree that we needed to beat Creighton and OSU if we lost this game. If you are saying to simply make the tournament which you could have a different goal in mind and that's fair. But if we beat OSU fall to Creighton and win every other game until the new year we would be 10-3 and 3-3 or 2-3 (depending on Seton Hall) against Q1 or Q2 opponents with 18 games left against solid opponents. We only had 3 Q1 or Q2 wins all season last year. If we just go 11-9 overall in conference we get 3 more Q1-2 wins easy and maybe that's enough.

Let me throw another one at you in my pre-season predictions I said that Copeland would be the most improved player after not being injured for an offseason. Through 7 games would you say that's been true so far this season?

Why did you bring that take out today he was awesome today just couldn't stay on the court due to bad officiating again. Jaren Jackson only averaged 11 ppg last season that's what I always go back to.
