Jervay will start over Amir 100%. And with Roby back this is a top 25 roster. Palmer and Cope are good but Green and Burke will be at least a slight downgrade. Hopefully Allen can replace Glynn’s production.

I really see him as being similar to Donovan Mitchell. Here’s a link of a video of both taking pull up threes. Mitchell only shoots around 34% off the top of my head. Like it said in the article Green has shot 41.5% this season (small sample size but he shoots a high volume per game like Mitchell). The high volume and quick release allows both to penetrate into the lane and finish with their long wingspans. I think he’s on his way to the NBA. I talked more about him in the offseason in the episode Back to Business featured above as well.

I know that’s how you think but the committee just doesn’t look at it that way. For example Kansas State went 9-9 in conference last year. In the non-conference they gotten maybe one Q2 won vs Washington State. They went 11-2 but besides Arizona State and Tulsa there two losses their non-con schedule was terrible. They got a 10 seed. With 8 conference wins our resume is way better than theirs.

I would agree. Remember that first half run only happened because we hit three threes in a row. You also tend to figure out a difficult defense of scheme like that one as the game goes on. On the other hand they certainly play it out on our guys like crazy especially in the first half. You could tell that their defense of intensity was not the same. It makes you realize how impressive Texas Tech was when they did it to us the entire game. After that game I said they would probably be the best defense of team we see all year. Their number 4 NET ranking seems to be proving this correct.

Counts as a win but doesn’t go into net ranking. Which actually makes it a better game to schedule than a terrible division one team.

I think Rutgers got lost but 7 conference wins in the worst case cenerio for quality wins puts us at 7-0 in Q2. Last year we were 2-3 and 1-6 in Q1. We won’t get left out with 8 conference wins.

Clemson is now a Q1 and should improve with ACC play. If Seton Hall gets in the top 75 which they should in conference (in the 80s right now) we already have more Q1/Q2 wins than last year. And when they update a top 15 NET rank. They aren’t leaving us out unless we lose 13 conference games.

This worked perfectly. We probably got a bigger home court advantage there than we would here. Remember no students this time of year. This should be nearly a safe Quad 2 win. Coming into this game despite the 4-5 record they were 62 in NET rank. They will get their transfer in there go 4-14 in the big 12 and slide into the top 100. Plus we won by 10+ so our NET Rank is looking great! We should move back into the top 25 imo and we have enough games for me to think it’s real. Just can’t drop the ball against one of the next two and we should be ranked going into conference play!

Wow I thought that was terrible. People do that literally every time they are holding the ball for the last shot. But I think charges should basically be removed from basketball so maybe I’m biased.

We’ve basically only taken NBA 3s. They have certainly worked and they are mostly wide open.

It always works! How can it not work. I guarantee you that when we get two shot attempts at the end of the half we score more on average than when we shoot one. You take one bad shot (the first one) and one good shot (the 2nd one). Not sure how that beats one good shot?

Horrorible call! It went our way but wow what do you even call that “an arm guarded dribble.” I can’t get myself to even call it a charge.
