  1. I like Neal and Prince. I'd be ecstatic to land either guy
  2. I would like to land Jordy. I want a transfer guard like Cullen Neal. I would be interested in the Louisville big. Can we be successful without that, sure.
  3. Yes, if he doesn't get any bigger height wise, he could possibly play the 2 if we had a really good PG. if not he can play the 3. If you watch him on some of the breaks he glides right by people. When I watched him at the state tourney he looked like his game is made for the big 12 or PAC. He isn't very physical even on offense, he can get to the rim but I question his physicality, but as a sophomore, that can get better. I was shocked by how well he shot the ball.
  4. 7 footer leaving WF. Brent Barry kid leaving, also Cullen Neal.
  5. The operator is a difficult job. I was sitting by Jommy Motz and I asked him about it and it would be tough to do because of the operator and basketball knowledge one has to have. Here are highlights of Changs first 7 games as a sophomore. This guy is gonna be so damn good. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/4910786/highlights/322844389
  6. This is why Nebraska should try to get in a high AAU league. We may never know how good some of these guys are. You can't take chances at the power 5 level and hope things work out.
  7. Who does he play AAU with? Would like to see him against big time competition.
  8. I'm guessing Arop. I think he has a role though, but not the same talent as Chang. Chang talent wise is legit. Arop to me will be a great defender right away.
  9. Chang by far has the most upside. I don't know if I would call him lazy, he isn't physical. I don't think Papio uses him ver very. I would want him going to basket more and pulling bigs out. If he catches high post, it's all over but the showers.
  10. Nebraska can't waste scholarships on guys, not saying it would be a waste, but you don't know what you get with him. I think you need to see these kids play high level ball. Look at Chang playing with MoKan, that's perfect.
  11. I'd flip Jacobsen and Watson but this is the list.
  12. Arop, I think is a 3, but Chang as far as athleticism seems like he is a step above from Arop, but that's just judging one game. I think Arop plays at a faster pace or with more GATA
  13. Watched him play today. He was ok. Not sure where we will play him. I also watched Chang. Chang is a wing. A fuel, I'm not sure. Chang didn't play with the same effort, especially on defense. My friend used to be the head coach at Hamilton and is an official for high school games now.
  14. I think Jacobsen if he can simply grow into his body will be good enough to play the 5. He needs a full off season. I think next year we have the ability to play a multitude of lineups, from Watson, Gill, Webster White and Jacobsen to just about anything. Endless possibilities.
  15. Worried about losing to Rutgers.... lol. But this ain't rock bottom.
  16. I actually think good shooting guards open up space for big men to actually operate.
  17. Get out early and ahead. Lack of size on matters when you can't shoot.
  18. Rock bottom is relative to your expectation level of the program.
  19. Collier and Doc both got 6 years, but NEITHER of them had the facilities that Tim Miles has. Am I ready to fire Miles, no, but I still feel that this is rock bottom. While they have improve on offense, I still don't think this team has an identity on offense. Last night was garbage. We know Kenya can recruit, we know Phil is a developer, if we lose the next 2, it will further solidify a change is needed at the Molinari spot. I say Mo because I think the other 2 are doing a good job.
  20. Please find me where these freshman rank in the top 25. Nebraska losing to teams we are better than, Samford, Penn State in year 4 of a process is bad. Back to back years where you feel apart down the stretch. To me, last year, I thought was an anomaly due to a few personalities on the roster. Last night we lost to a club we beat by over 20+ points. prior to last night, I thought we had separated ourselves from the bottom feeders by beating the teams we were supposed to beat. So, yes, when in year 4 your comps are Rutgers and Penn State, who just beat you, I'd say that's bottom.
  21. Brilliant. Especially since Mo coaches defense. Yes. I didn't stutter. We need much more emphasis on scoring. We were good on D before Mo arrived. It's clear they struggle on offense still. Offense has improved across the country due to shorter clock and how officials are calling things.
