  1. Maybe positive thinking here, but Nebraska being his first visit, has to mean good things. Especially with the other guy visiting KU first. My fingers are crossed. This makes next years roster very different if we land him. Still need to add a few pieces for 2016 but this is big.
  2. Better prospect... Paschal. He's 7'2". I think his ceiling is much higher.
  3. It's nice to be mentioned, even nicer to win that commitment. This would be a welcome roster change and put this team in position to challenge the top of the Big Ten. If they land him and continue to build the 2016 class, watch out.
  4. Sure hope his family doesn't do the whole message board thing.
  5. reading this thread... Sigh.
  6. I actually find the poll interesting. As he doesn't quantify success. What is successful in the B10 is different than NBE, within that how does Nebraska define success versus Creighton. Creighton's best team never made the sweet 16. So what is success for them?
  7. I have always wondered how that works in basketball, since he will handle guards, will he be lead recruiter on them or will it go by geographic area.?
  8. Done by Nick Bahe... http://vote.pollcode.com/93849869
  9. It's highly U realistic to think we are "in it" for Dickerson, but I'm hoping the coaches are trying. What's better for next year, probably Max. I think starting 2-3 true frosh who can grow together would be beneficial long term.
  10. If he doesn't want to play the 5, the. I can understand not recruiting him because Tim prefers a type of post that Ed plays. If he is open to playing the 5 then I recruit him hard. Go watch Ed'd mix tape and Noah's, completely different. Noah has legit post up moves and skills. To the true big man comment, it's about skills and size not just about size. While at 6 7 1/2 wouldnt be the tallest 5,, he has the body build of a 5. He has the 5 back to the basket skill set.
  11. It simply amazes people who say he can't play because he may only be 6 7- 6 7 1/2 as a true freshman, yet opine for this guy to play as a grad transfer http://m.espn.go.com/ncb/playercard?playerId=56672&src=desktop It just doesn't make sense.
  12. ajb, he reminded me of a younger version of Leslee Smith, as he is currently, with the potential to be much more. Remember, Leslee as a Center was listed as 6 8. He is vastly different than Ed isn't a back to the basket #4. He plays off the bounce. The reality is, he likely isn't coming here. However, the coaches should and likely are trying to get him here.
  13. So Swan feels he didn't stick with Florida because of style, it wasn't because his head coach left and the assistant he was closest to left.
  14. According to one Gator site, he said Burno was his recruiter. He would play Center here. He would do really well with that spot. Body size/frame play a big role beyond being 6 71/2. What's the height requirement for a Center? Walt was 6 10 and played like he was 6 5.
  15. I tweeted what Burno said in the JournalStar article and Noah favorited it...
  16. Yes, until his release is complete you contact AAU/HS coaches. I think Nebraska will try, only thing you can do.
  17. Burno's quote about facilities and conference being on another level
  18. I think we recruit him, but it is a tough hill to climb. We will try which is all we can really ask. Talk about best recruiting haul of all time, here.
  19. From what I can recall, Harriman the year before last was a very good scout. Smith was in control of the bench. Style of play, right now, to me is less important than winning.
  20. No link, yet. I watched his video and he used legit post move. Nice drop step.
