  1. Jordy and most big guys we will be in on are projects, something is keeping them from being sought after by the blue bloods. We were in on some good players but the center spot is the hardest to recruit for a reason. Most big time post players need time to develop their body. Unfortunately being 6 11 isn't normal so time can help fill out a body. Who knows if Jordy will be good or not, it's up to him and his genetics.
  2. I think the football team is on the up. I think the baseball team is in trouble. Basketball.. Until this last year I felt was in the best position, in starting to put them behind football. IMO keeping White and getting s REALLY good assistant in to replace PB is probably Tim's 2 biggest recruiting jobs he's had since being here.
  3. I think he goes and play in Europe. 3 weeks or so... Then we'll know.
  4. Losing Beckner wasn't bad luck nor coincidence. So Tim made a bad hire?Someone is guzzling the Haterade. Gu-zzle-ing!!!Not at all.BTW I have no problem using Barnes as a source, where the expectation of someone he works with is in the 18 points a game realm, or to watch the Minnesota situation... This is from someone else. I'll wait for you to bring something to the board with a source... Crazy is, how do I put this, well, he's pretty well sourced. If he is so well sourced, who is in the next assistant coach short list? Give us something. Come on. Lanigan, I'm not knocking you. You trust AB and that's your call. Not everybody does, and that's their call. I am sure that AB has info; he's in a position to know things and I'd be shocked if he didn't have some dirt to scoop from time to time.Having said that, I posted a thread or a post once upon a time where I said there are a few different categories of insiders, at least for me: there are those who I know have inside information; those I strongly suspect have inside information but I don't have direct knowledge of who their source might be; and those who I think just talk out their asses. This was maybe a year or two ago that I posted this, so good luck finding it, but I put Crazy in that middle category way back then. There are some that I know for a fact that they know stuff and I think at the time I probably mentioned Haymarket Husker as being in that group. I don't know for a fact that Crazy has inside info, but he or she has produced information that wasn't available anywhere else and his or her scoops have held true time and time again. So, if you ask Crazy to produce something to prove he or she has the goods, I'd suggest just go back through Crazy's old posts and you'll find plenty. The information wasn't from AB. I have gotten info from AB before, some I've shared, some I haven't. This came from someone else. He may well have sources, but the source I got this from is very well connected. Dimes above used deductive reasoning that their is more this than experience.

  8. That was a typo it isn't Barnes. I've openly said before when it was Adam. Adam reads the board. He knows it isn't him.
  9. These threads are much better when the division goes pages and pages about Kudzu.
  10. My source is not Adam Barnes. The idea that people think that everything that happen to the program is all coincidence and bad luck is fooling themselves. I've been a huge Tim Miles supporter. I think Andrew is an extremely bright young man. When he talks about himself, he has said he is more of a specialist if he makes it at the next level. I think the White/Petteway comparisons are very subjective. Of course I'm not the only one who talks to people. Ultimately, I hope he makes the choice to stay. If you have heard Andrew speak, you can tell fairly quickly he is a bright individual it would be naive of me to think that someone so smart would some how make a bad decision based on what friends are saying to him versus what basketball guys would be telling him. If people want to marginalize the defections based on circumstance, go right ahead. Signed the people who stood by Barry Collier.
  11. Taking things that aren't comparable, message board fanaticism versus someone's job to evaluate a player. if fan(atics) want to believe him leaving would just be plain OL bad luck like the what 5 assistant coaches, players leaving etc fine. I'll stand by my source and him leaning towards leaving, and I quote "He's not fond of the Tim Miles show. Just wants to play hoops and get away from the sideshow."
  12. I hope Andrew comes back... No reason for him to go play in Europe over a final year in B1G.
  13. My source is/was more than a radio show. I'd love to lose guys to the NBA if they were NBA ready guys. I will still go to all the games.... If he does leave for Europe, questions need and should be addressed...
  14. I'm not saying he is pulling a Yori. Guys AW isn't on Draft Express top 100, if he chooses to go to Europe over a final year, especially when he wont be considered old like Terran was. I've stood and backed up him when he took shots on assistants and guys leaving but this would push me over the ledge. Go listen to Sharp and Sipple this AM, they talk about the White situation. He would be the #1 player on a Big Ten roster, leaving for the Europe at best right now.
  15. Yes, I said it. 1. I don't think Andrew is getting drafted, but I think he might make the decision to leave. 2. I have a source who told me their is more smoke to Andrew possibly leaving than what meets the eye. Andrew would be the cherry on top of all the reasons people bring up with the coaches leaving etc. So yes, if a guy leaves who in everyone's eyes isn't ready for the NBA I will few that our administration take a closer look at the head coach.
  16. I hope he returns, more information I hear, more I think he may go. If he does leave, I'm all off the Tim Miles train.
  17. Sharman White would be my first phone call.
  18. I think he commits here once he visits.
  19. I want to see where they play Roby at. I am interested to see how Horne's game translates to this level. Really hoping Watson/Webster/Gill all improve this summer.
  20. If love to land him and Jordy. Still want a guard, too
  21. I like to look at PG/SG together, I think we are probably right in the middle. White is top 5 at SF and I think PF/C we are just passed the middle. It really depends on where you place guys. Nebraska finally had enough bodies next year to play deeper. Would love to add another guard and a big guy, but I think Jacobsen and Morrow at the 4 and 5 is a good pair.
  22. Busker baseball are you referring to Sharp and Benning today? The full story is Luol Deng has been in contact with Chang. He wanted Chang to visit Blair Academy, Ed was going to but it sounds like his mother put the foot down for NOW. Deng is still in contact with him.
  23. I think the big man argument is extremely overblown look at who is still playing who is winning games, guard play is much more important.
