So Ohio State just lost at Rutgers tonight. I wonder when the fire the coach, or bubble watch threads start on their message boards? ?
-
Another over/under you could set. How many more times this year will it happen? ? oh yeah.

Stopped reading after the warning, great idea adding that btw. I'm enjoying the season, hope we are peaking at the right time. I think a win tomorrow will be good for the Nebrasketball psyche.

After watching both Chambers and Montgomery incidents, at first blush, I feel like Montgomery incident>Chambers. I'm not sure why. With that said, not a good either way.

Great post after a tough loss last night. This does not suck.

I'm going to wait to label this team until after the season. Games like these, make folks go, I don't know. I just hope we're playing our best in March. The 91 and 96 teams will be tough to beat. Hopefully a topic for a future thread, say about the time the sweet 16 gets done. ? -

"Palmer had a couple sloppy turnovers" This was unacceptable sloppy play at a critical part of the game, as it turns out. We were up 8, could have extended the lead. Instead, Palmer let them back into it. If we are going to give games away on the road (2 for 2), we better win ALL of our home games this year. -
Fernando, yikes. Lets 1-3-1 and hope they are missing their 3's. In man, change up our double timing every time Fernando gets the ball, or do it right away no matter. I dunno, not sure we can just play straight man and win this one. What worries me is TTU pretty much had their way inside, hoping to not see a similar result with this game. I'm excited for conference play to start, lets do this!

Love me some Nebrasketball Runza action. Stay away from the shakes, they come out of that machine, if its not cleaned well you'll feel the consequences probably sooner than later and not have a very good night or day after. I know from experience. ? Definitely going back for a burger or runza again someday, and don't forget my frings. GBR

If Miles does not get a 4-6 year extension at the end of this season, I'm off the Moos bandwagon. Yeah, he's here to fix football, but don't ruin basketball. I hope some donors can get in his ear with support for Miles (maybe remind him of the Devaney years when there were only 5K at the arena). I think the fact coach only received a 1 year extension was a joke. Its time Moos hitches his cart to coach Miles. Hasn't Moos only hired 1 basketball coach twice? I mean come on. OK, rant over, I feel better. ? -

I'll leave the more in depth analysis to others, all I'll say is, BOOM, that's more like it. Anyone know what Miles and the Creighton coach were yelling at each other about early in the game? And for the Creighton lurkers, good luck the rest of the season, need this to be a good win on the resume (for seeding purposes of course) ? -
Free Throws...Yikes ?

I usually hesitate to post right after a game, especially a loss. I've also learned to avoid the game thread all together, I've said some pretty silly stuff in the heat of the moment. So, this day after, and more thinking, I'm not as devastated as I was last night. A few things go differently (the questionable tech on Cope, the missed goal tend) and this game goes our way, even with Coffey getting 30. Would have liked it if we played better when we were up 7 or 12, and made it 15 or 20, but maybe the team learned something about that yesterday. We're nine games into a long season, the big ten will be tough this year, we wont be the only team to lose a game we thought we should win. I just hope the team can learn some lessons from this game and put those lessons in practice and get better from it. Now lets beat ? Creighton! ? -

No 1-3-1 in the second half? I thought we rolled that out to protect some of our guys in foul trouble. I wonder if that will be asked in the post game. Palmer had no business guarding Coffey. A step, or two, slow all night on the kid. I guess I'm not sure who he would have switched with though. Long season, lets get'em on Saturday. BIG is going to be a grinder this year. -
I agree, and wouldn't an assistant coach look at our roster returning and know we have a pretty good chance at making the dance next year, and also conclude that it would be quite a resume bullet item to be able to say you were part of Nebraska's first NCAA tourney win.

Miles needs a contract set-up in a way that does not cause a disadvantage in recruiting. If that's 5 years, 4 years, whatever. If we have to buy out remaining years because things do not go well down the road, fine. Its the cost of doing business in my opinion. I'm just hoping the team can stay together for another run next year. Like Moos has stated, build on this year's success. I'm excited for next year's team.

How many seconds were left on the clock in the KU game, or when did we lose the lead at PSU, or Creighton? 19 point loss at MSG to MU. Put that on the clock after every work out, every practice and work as hard as you can for that much longer. Day, by day!

Crazy to think how things would have been different if we beat KU. Three Q1 wins make a difference (Mich, MN, KU)? Who knows. How about being ND today, that Davidson win knocked them out.
