I take twitter for what it is. A big'ol snark fest. Who can be snarkier than the other. From what little I've listened to Gaskins I have no doubt he is great on twitter. Rosenthal should be careful not to lower himself to Gaskins level. And don't get me started the rest of the 93.7 crew. If I wanted to hear about Creighton everyday I'd move to Omaha. Thank you Nick Bahe.

Ah yes, brings back the memories of rehabing my ankle my Senior year of basketball. Those early morning ice baths were wonderful. Luckily I never had to do the full body, just one leg. I'm sure I had the same look on my face as Rivers does in the picture.

With the athletic department pumping all kinds of resources into the basketball program I think Coach Miles would be hard pressed to leave Nebraska. A part of me would love to hear other schools are interested in our coach because it means we are being successful. As long as DONU keeps stepping up their game, salaries, recruiting budget, etc, then I don't think we'll have anything to worry about for a long time.

Is there one? I've read speculation there might be, I'm sure I'm just propogating a rumor. Either way, I think if Miles thought it would be good for the program he'd go. I'll trust his decision.

If Coach Miles, with his history of building programs, doesn't think it would be best for this program to go to the CBI this year then I trust his analysis. I have to beleive if he thought it would be good for the program he'd be GATA all over any big10 gentleman's agreement not to go to the CBI.

I see it this way, I think there is more long term benefit to the program to have Coach Miles out recruting. With the new recruits and redshirts coming in next year it will be a vastly different team. There will be what, three, players on this years team that will be getting significant minutes next year (Shields, Rivers, Gallegos)? I'm not seeing how road game(s) in the CBI will make this team so much better for next year. We need more Jimmy's and Joe's so I say Coach Miles and staff should be out recruiting.

How cool would it be to get your hands on a few of those seats? Great addition to the man cave I think. One of my fondest memories of the Bob was my first game. I can't tell you who we played, I doubt it was a big game, I was probably 10 years old at the time but I remember the feeling more than anything. I remember walking in and feeling the excitement in the building. Then I walked into where you could see the court and i was hooked for life. The band was playing, the team was warming up, there were enough people in their seats that it looked almost full, a lot of energy in the building. Just a really awe type moment for a young kid. Lastly, I will always associate the chocolate frozen malt with the wooden spoon with Husker hoops. Another great childhood memory. I hope they bring those over to the Pinnacle.

I just watched the halftime tribute video twice...man, those were the days. Great video.

After following HHC for a number of years I finally took the plunge due to the recruiting board becoming members only. I look forward to seeing if Coach Miles can recruit some jimmys and joes. I believe this is a unique time in the program's history where we have a legit chance to change our stars. I'm hoping Coach Miles is the right man for the job at the right time. I haven't found a better site for Husker Hoops coverage than HHC. Always great takes.
