  1. Want to know versus need to know. That said, speculation sucks for everone...but my first thought when our trainer was probing on the floor was Achilles.
  2. I haven't read all the takes, but boy, did we play a nice game. Good win ladies!
  3. It is hard due to the constant updates. What are you I thinking?
  4. My humble opinion...Eli Rice will have a role on next year's team. Unless portal arrivals are outstanding, that dude will be playing. Transfers are probably not done yet either. We shall see. Yet another critical but interesting offseason.
  5. I've punched those whiteboards in my past...that will.leave a mark.
  6. Man, Purdue looked like poop. Amazing loss. Kind of tells you about the importance of the guard court.
  7. I agree. In fact if this is true, the hullabaloo rightfully raised about the inequalities of hotels, food, et al the last couple years still exists for the ladies. https://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa-basketball-gender-inequities-2021-exposed-march-madness-162712173.html
  8. PSU looks good. Kinda/sorta looks like us.
  9. I'll be shocked if any of them are here next season. That shock will only dissipate IF one or more of them enter the portal.
  10. Lol...not for me...go Bruce!
  11. What did you see that you would define as embarrassing? I thought there was a feeling out period against a fairly solid team. We played a bit tight, but that is not entirely unusual for a first round tournament game. But I really am interested in what embarrassed you? A few other thoughts. Sam really handled her assignments (offensively and defensively) well. We certainly lost the rebounding battle, as they crashed hard to the boards; however, that said, we seemed to control the scoring in the paint. Their coach stated that our post players did a good job posting low and their defenders got caught behind our post players. Lastly, we basically had a 10 point win while shooting badly from the arc. That, in and of its self, is a bit encouraging.
  12. Back home. Good battle and good win. Jaz should earn a spot in the espn to ten plays as well.
  13. Well...Will miss his defense, hops and hustle...but he seemed to be offensively challenged.
  14. Let's see who we have at this moment: Guards - Tominaga Lawrence Hoiberg (walk-on) Grace (walk-on) Jacobson (walk-on) McPherson Lloyd Wings - CJ Rice PF - Briedenbach Gary Burt (walk-on) Post - Blaise Am I missing anyone? Sounds like we will have additional attrition. Without being overly dramatic...Help! Hey, we have some building blocks, but we need a successful off-season.
  15. Sometimes, you just have to shake your head and walk away.
  16. Hmm. This kind of stinks. I thought he had the skills to help...all he needed was strength and weight. Oh well.
  17. Not that I think he would do better; but it sounds like a Petino type of landing spot.
  18. Apparently there is a portal guard out of Central Arkansas (I think) that we are looking at. Averages about 19-5-5.
  19. From the outside looking in, I would provide one bit of advice to CJ. This is the same advice I would give to him whether he stays or goes; and only applies when he is on the court. Stop thinking! Let your natural talent take the lead, and trust yourself. He ends up looking mechanical, slow and indecisive.
  20. I've looked and cannot find anything that says CJ is definitely gone. Yet we are talking as if he is. I know word is on the street that he may have made that decision; but has either Fred or CJ publicly confirmed it? Has the post-season meetings taken place between Fred and the individual players? Typically they took place after the dance. Just wondering if those meetings moved forward. People I have visited with indicated Keisei has not yet made any type of decision. Perhaps the street has heard something different?
  21. Not that it is important, but I wonder if his lady friend will follow him?
  22. Somebody told me that we were the first or second out. A couple Florida schools edged us out
  23. There are not a lot of us still around who attended games at PBA, The Bob and the Coliseum. Loved games the Coliseum. When we would get it going, the floor would literally shake.
  24. You may be misrembering a little...Larry's career in Nebraska ended in 1975-76 and Tisdale played in the mid 80's. By the way he died in 2009. You may have been thinking about Alvan Adam's who was a pretty good post man for them during the Cox Era.
