  1. I don't know Dave. Moos recently restructured the athletic department. At that time, people did lose jobs and were reassigned. Those kept were considered necessary and were given specific duties and responsibility. I guess as someone who is addicted to Nebraska sports, I am not 100% certain who is and who is not a success in their individual roles. I do know that Mr. Boehm has the following responsibilities: Boehm has been with Nebraska for 15 years and most recently oversaw all development areas. As Executive Associate Athletic Director, Boehm has oversight of all External Operations including development, ticketing, N Club, marketing, communications, creative and emerging media, HuskerVision, licensing and branding, spirit squads and community, government and charitable relations. Can you elaborate as to where he is failing within the above categories and why he deserves to be fired? Living in Lincoln and knowing people within the department, I am not aware of any failures in these categories. Being in the business world, I am not sure I would fire someone, just because... Not trying to be rude, but I am curious what you know that I may not know that creates the need to fire him?
  2. Steve Pederson brought him here.
  3. Won't disagree...I have lived that life. But he is an administrator who likely has goals that are to be met or exceeded. He is now on his fourth AD (fifth if you include Remington). I would surmise he has done a good job within the framework of his position. If not, one of the aforementioned AD's surely would have dismissed him.
  4. He has endured numerous bosses. He must be doing something right that is being recognized and rewarded.
  5. Proud of the fight this team displayed over the past week. Yet, I have mixed feelings. Where was this fight in January and February. So I have a mix of pride and frustration tonight.
  6. Yet, he is now on record saying that his evaluation will not begin until after the season is over. By saying the decision is already made, would also be an allegation that Moos is lying. Correct?
  7. Interesting that Moos hasn't made up his mind yet. Sixty-four pages, soon to be one hundred pages, and the next coach may be the same coach. Hmmm.
  8. I just don't get it. IF Miles is to be fired, then do it. If you are going to keep him, then stop the torture. Still evaluating??? Come on man.
  9. Gotta say, I have a lot of mixed feelings right now. Nuff said.
  10. Correct...family first.
  11. It is good to understand ones priorities.
  12. The team looks like it is having fun again. I guess winning will bring joy; but whatever, it is fun watching the team have fun.
  13. I'm in the vast minority, but at the very least, it has become a bit more interesting.
  14. Per Sports Illustrated. They sort of think pretty highly of Mr. Roby: 2019 NBA Draft Big Board 5.0: Top 80 Rankings Ahead of NCAA Tournament 36. ISAIAH ROBY, F/C, NEBRASKA | JUNIOR Height: 6'8" | Weight: 225 | Age: 21 | Last Rank: 42 Roby is a player who needs to be watched closely to properly understand his impact, much of which goes beyond the box score. Nebraska went into a tailspin this season, but Roby has spent the entire year playing out of position at the five. He has solid ball skills, has worked diligently on his outside shot and profiles nicely as an athletic, positionless big who can play inside and out. He has the size, agility and shot-blocking chops to be a solid, versatile defender. You can also make the argument that he was often under-utilized offensively on a team with selfish guards. While Roby has not always been the most consistent player, his projectable tools and skill set should have him in first-round consideration by June.
  15. Tim Miles will be extended. (Yeah I know). March 25th.
  16. Our offense was good but we struggled finishing. That and pedestrian free throw shooting cost us at least 15 points, likely more. Yet we won. We had good pace, role players played their roles and James got hot when we really needed it. Good team win...and congratulations to Tim and the staff for putting a great game plan together. Nicely done!
  17. ...and think about how many bunnies we missed...
  18. Oh man...Miles was waving to the crowd and he tripped and fell. He may end up being out next game as well...
