  1. I would be very interested if you are just guessing that Kevin was not encouraged to split or whether you have inside information. I was told by an individual pretty close to the situation that he was told playing time wouldn't be there for him next season and he was encouraged to see if there wasn't a greener pasture for him to frolic in. That information then seemed to be supported by what I just read. It is not a big deal either way, but I am wondering if your source is more tuned in then mine...I can then give my source a bit of crap ;)
  2. The only way we reach the top is with exceptional talent. Given our past, we have not had great luck developing 2 and 3 star players into top echelon talent...sure, a few, but obviously not enough. We are now going all in, or seemingly so, of building through the transfer market. We will see comings and goings until we see the jimmy's and joe's that can challenge the top ten talent across the globe. Within the next two years, we should see the results. SHOULD. Perhaps then we will see a bit more stability within the roster.
  3. Well, that should be about it, right?
  4. Much depends on his approach to "team". If he willingly accepted his role and busts his ass in practice, then we would have lost an invaluable asset. So I guess so much depends on his character. And everything I know about this kid is that he is a high character and hard working sob. But again, it is a matter of perspective.
  5. Hmm...I am happy for Charlie, but why do I feel like crap that he is leaving. The dude played hard and with heart.
  6. Lat is 240lbs???
  7. I heard the dude from Seattle U can really shoot the three...oh, wait...
  8. Good luck young man...at Pacific, I hope your game catches up to your expectations and hype.
  9. Not much Norm...same oh, same oh. I did hear though, that we may have lost a pretty darn good member. Happy Easter!
  10. Maybe Kevin heard Haarms is coming.
  11. I believe it was the OWH that also mentioned three bigs as possibilities. Two of whom were transfers.
  12. The NCAA also is contemplating finalizing the one tome transfer waiver. If that goes into effect, then all first time transfers will get immediate eligibility...correct?
  13. Big...no huge get! Wow. Now get a big!
  14. Oh hey...i believe I forgot that I won a contest recently and for the life of me I cannot recall the contest content...sheesh.
  15. I have french heritage. Life in France moves at a slower pace and everything there is measured differently than in the States. They also consider themselves young at heart. So don't be fooled by Yvan's "reported" age. He is actually 26 years old. Given his true age, he will not redshirt. Viva la France!!!
  16. What effect will all this transfer activity have on our (and many others) graduation ratio?
  17. A good series. A KC trip appears to be in the offing.
  18. There is a lot about this young man that I liked. He obviously had issues that simply created a mismatch with this program. Good luck!
  19. Hmm, I am not convinced that they will be playing the same "position" in the future. They did this year out of necessity. Moving forward, that may no longer be the case.
  20. Yvan's explosion may or may not improve...much depends on his work in the weight room. It is my understanding that he never spent much time lifting; and given thae fact that he was a late arrival to Lincoln, i am betting he will gain some explosion. But another key for Yvan is improving his footwork and use of his body. Both areas can and should be coached up.
  21. I hope Cross stays. I see him rebuilding (perhaps building) his body and he has shown glimpses of high level talent.
  22. See ya. Hope your trombone playing, while warming up for a game, finds a great home along with you of course. Seriously, good luck.
  23. Good luck at your next stop Cam.
