  1. Senseless crap. And you are right Bugeaters, the perp is a coward.
  2. I'm not intending to lead the posse to lock you in a padded room...but; I'm more concerned about playing well at Rutgers. Maybe if we win at Rutgers...maybe I will start dreaming of post season basketball in one form or another.
  3. Excellent game. Too bad the referee had to make that last call. Not necessarily a bad call; but that handsy type of play could be called on almost any play. Oh well.
  4. Good game so far, and the halftime was great.
  5. NM it just showed up.
  6. Defenses appear overmatched right now.
  7. Just because... Comment on game, commercials, halftime, food, fluff...have at it.
  8. 1% give or take...

  10. Much better performance today.
  11. The painful issue for CJ and quite honestly for Keisei as well are their limitations beyond being a shooter. Keisei has now developed his game to be a scorer as well as a shooter. He can drive and cut to the hole and is creative around the hoop allowing him to score against the biggest of the bigs. He has quick hands and good anticipatory skills. He lacks in lateral quickness and strength but does have decent hops and good handles. CJ has seemed to regress in nearly every category. He is particularly frustrating when dribbling into the crowd and literally any time he puts the ball onto the floor. My son calls him the 2023 Lat. I guess I still have hope for CJ, but Fred needs to use him very selectively until his game returns. Heck, that could be against Rutgers...who really knows. But he cannot be trusted with extended minutes at this point. Right now it appears the most trusted rotation may be - DW, Sam G, Keisei, Lawrence, Wilhelm, Dawson, Sam H and Blaise.
  12. Loved it...lol...they get crankier then we do after a loss. Iloved the dude who said Keisei was a flop machine. Talk about a pot calling the kettle black. Wisky has had the doctor of flop on their team for something like 20 years.
  13. I am glad...no giddy...that we provided the Badgers with their "worst loss" this year...hehehe! https://share.newsbreak.com/31e4k3yx
  14. I wonder how Wilhelm and Blaise will feel tomorrow morning. From my seat it looked like Wilhelm took quite the blow. Perhaps it wasn't as bad as it first appeared. Blaise looked like he tweaked his ankle late. He also played a lot of minutes, especially for someone who hasn't played a lot of minutes lately. I will not be overly critical...but CJ simply has bad MOJO right now. He didn't play the second half and that may be a good thing right now. Same with Dawson. Maybe he was ill or something but I do not believe he saw the floor in the 2nd half. Once again Sam Hoiberg provided quality minutes. That is great. Those who played in the 2nd half...stellar performance. Finally, what I am about to say may be scoffed at, but I thought the referees did a pretty good job for us. It may have looked different on TV. It was physical; but to me that is big boy BigTen basketball.
  15. The Wisconsin dude in front of me was not happy with Wisconsin at the end of regulation. Especially that once again, they relied on Choacky.
  16. Had Wisconsin fans in front of us. Borderline obnoxious. Made the game/win sooo much better. Great team win. But is was really great to see Blaise back on the floor and contributing.
  17. Wow...what a great second half. That was fun!
  18. This was a bad half of basketball compounded by the fact that I have Wisconsin fans sitting in front of me.
  19. I would be interested in people's interpretation of player development and at what level we are struggling? A player comes into a team setting (really at any level and age) with certain abilities, limitations and intangibles. There are then certain people and tools available to elevate that players skill set. At Nebraska, and likely most other universities you have facilities, nutritionists, strength and conditioning coaches, video, assistant coaches, peers, head coach, administration, and of course your own self motivation. There then has to be accountability and responsibility to improve and leverage your mental and physical growth/improvement. The last few years on the men's team, it was felt by many that the area lacking was not necessarily development of the player (although there may have been individual players where development may have been part of the problem); rather, it was with accountability and responsibility. Players could make errors or play outside the team concepts, and they were not being visibly held accountable. A certain player even stated this publicly. I guess my point is that I am not convinced development is as much an issue as player responsibility and accountability is. If a player blows a defensive assignment is she pulled from the game? Is making a bad pass punished? There are so many game nuances that must be done in certain ways, and if they are not done correctly, the team fails. Are we doing those little things?
  20. It would be cool if some of his fans in Japan could/would somehow chime in (hopefully in English). Would love to here from them.
  21. Given his recent prowess and arguably being the fan favorite, I thought I would start this thread. Good article is attached for your enjoyment. He may have fans here, but he must really be a phenomenon in Japan. https://www.yahoo.com/now/japanese-steph-curry-tominaga-joy-222843256.html
  22. That was an uber collapse. It simply looked like a team that ran out of gas. And then a semi came up and ran over them. Good first half and a good first 8 minutes of the third quarter. And then BAM.
