I was worried but a good portion of you seem to think it was in the bag so I guess I should stop worrying. If Petteway can get to his average I would really really like our chances. Wouldn't hurt if Ray, Pitch or Shields could get their as well.

No one knew that Illinois, Purdue and Indiana were going to have bad seasons this year. Also no one knew that Iowa was going to kinda of turn the corner.

If I were to bet it would be on Nebraska. Although, I could see us covering and still losing. We are playing really well right now with a lot of confidence and Ray has to start making shots right...? right?

We could go 16-16 with a loss in the NIT. But that is awesome. We are at worst in the NIT.

Feels like that is true of every single team in the B1G except us.

I just don't see top 4. OSU Wisky and Iowa (2 of 3) would have to struggle mightily and we would have to win at least 3 but probably 4 of our remaining 5. Iowa holds the tiebreaker against us so we probably aren't catching them. Maybe it could come down to the last game of the season, beat Wisky and get the 4 seed (with a tiebreaker over both Wisky and OSU). But in that case we would probably have to play Wisky a few days later anyway. I would say that if we get to 11-7 we are already going to be getting an 8 or a 9 seed. We definitely want the bye, but our chances are so small of getting it.

Izzo has to retire eventually right? I am only half joking.

Well, since there doesn't seem to be any Purdue threads I thought I would get us started. I watched the game but don't remember a lot other than how we were in it. I have heard some say they are one of our toughest remaining games because we don't match up inside with them. Anyway, educate me about them and what to look for tomorrow. How do you think we matchup? What are our keys to victory? What do you think our chances are?

I would go and be excited. If we fall just short of the big dance we can get a 1 or 2 seed and get 2 or 3 home games and then win the NIT!

I hadn't really noticed people leaving until last night. It was like a giant deluge of people running down for the exits. I stood and yelled at them for leaving to the floor.

I love this board too. It has definitely kept me sane as a Husker Hoops fan and in many ways made me a better fan, in addition to increasing my love for the team. It can be hard being a fan from Omaha making the drive 1 to 2 times a week to find like minded people. I need to get to one of the meetups.

I think Dr Tom would use this incident as an example of why alcohol shouldn't be served. It's weird to me when some husker fans don't show good sportsmanship. It's like they don't understand our state and fan base has a good reputation. He could have done serious damage to that reputation. If he would have been decked we would have been on sports center and talk radio across the nation for the wrong reasons.

So when Minnesota falls out of the top 50 we lose one of our top 50 wins. They are are 3rd best win.

I vote we just kick Rutgers and Maryland out of the conference.

Tai had one of his best games. Rivers played like a MAN! This team needs to practice free throws because I have a feeling we will be shooting a lot down the stretch.
