  1. That Oklahoma St. game in 2007 when they moved the game to the end of the season and we had to play them back to back games in the Big 12 tournament. Won in Lincoln, got waxed in the tourney.
  2. I didn't say they'd be better, I said they'd be bigger than they are this year, which they will be across the board. I think it'll be another year before we're bubbelicious, I just disagree that we'll be tiny next year, because I don't think we will other than at the 5.
  3. Sure, that's a possible lineup, but Webster, Fuller and Hawkins are all likely to be in the rotation and they're all bigger than Parker. We don't have a replacement for Andre, but we'll also likely see a lineup of Webster, Petteway, Fuller, Shields, Pitchford at times. It's not a given at all that Biggs starts for this team next year. They need some more help on the post, but they're not going to be small next year every where else. They're going to have quite a bit of flexibility with their lineups.
  4. IDK about 1 and 3, but I think 2 is Shang Ping.
  5. Well, I think we'er already full speed ahead in the right direction. I also think it's quite a long way to shore. I think it's the year after next, at best, that we've got a shot at the bubble. I could see an NIT bid next year. There would have to be a lot of start aligning for NU to get there next year. I also disagree with the notion that we'll be tiny next year. We'll be considerably bigger at every position except the 5. We definitely need to get better there, but the idea that we'll be small next year isn't really accurate either.
  6. They've currently got game scheduled for that time slot.
  7. When was that ever going to be the new logo? http://huskernsider.tumblr.com/post/35283478914/nebraska-refreshes-its-secondary-logos?SPSID=22&SPID=76795&DB_OEM_ID=100 Secondary logo, not primary. I'd imagine you'll start seeing it formally on merchandise and such next football season.
  8. It wouldn't shock me at all if he and Rosenthal poke their nose in on occasion. It'd be a pretty simple way to get the pulse of a fairly significant portion of the fanbase.
  9. We didn't have a chance on the boards yesterday. Nix and Payne are a touch match-up for reasonably assembled teams, much less ones with only one quality post player.
  10. Pun intended? When was the last time CWG didn't intend a pun? I mean, seriously.
  11. I watched most of the game again this evening and I guess I didn't see anything glaring in Benny's game. His only short coming last night was his stature, i thought he made some good decisions distributing the ball and was fine defensively. If he's doing something wrong, you'll need to show me where, because I thought he was fine vs. MSU.
  12. Youtubify that! Or send it to me and I'll do it.
  13. Yep, this confirms I still have great seats!
  14. Washut RT'd this. Clearly came during the game. Read into it at your own peril. https://twitter.com/MatthewAtewe41/status/302966437650264066
  15. That's fine, you're welcome to keep watching Channel 6, that's up to you. And while I'll listen to people that disagree with me, I don't generally listen to people who mock for the sake of mocking. There's a difference there.
  16. With the wonders of the remote, you can usually catch Husker highlights on all the Omaha news channels after any game. So, this suggestion doesn't solve the problem. Sure it does. No one is forcing you to watch the channel 6 version of the highlights. If all they're going to do is make you mad, then why even turn it to that station? Just don't do it. Problem solved. Blood pressure normalized.
  17. My suggestion is watch one of the other Channels.
  18. I need to go back and watch again. Parker didn't stick out to me one way or the other.
  19. They had four guys go over 13, that's tough to defend. This is a final four contender.
  20. I thought tonight was going to be the night. I really did. MSU was ripe for hte plucking, just couldn't get over the hump. - We just didn't have an answer for the on the post. Nix and Payne completely owned the glass tonight. - Positive assist to turn over ratio is nice. - Cool to see all the players on the court at halftime. Wald's kid was hilarious. - Lue seemed genuinely honored to be recognized like this. - Thought the uni's looked sweet. Second straight throwback that was miles better than what they actually wear. - I still want one of those tshirts. I hope they make them available. - I'm assuming you all caught this tweet, by Rosenthal, right? https://twitter.com/HuskerExtraBR/status/302941223025520640 - Pretty impressive game from Shavon. First career double-double.Would like to see it a little more consistently from him, but this was a good game for the kid. He's going to be a big part of things in the future. - David Rivers kept us in the game early. - Michigan St. has turned into a pretty nice team. They're going to be a tough out in March. That said, they're a flop machine. - Thought the crowd was pretty solid tonight. Almost 12,0000. They wanted to get into it and the roof would have come off if they could have got one more stop after they got it to 41-40. - If we could have had Ray just hit half of his average tonight... - I don't know what else to say. Thought Talley had a nice night. Just looked at the box score, didn't realize he had 28, 19 in the second half? Wow. - Would be nice to get a win on Thursday. Let's make it happen, fellas. This post has been promoted to an article

  22. I THINK NU is on a better trajectory, but we've heard this story more than once. First it was you just watch! When that Rodney Buford leaves, they'll go in the tank in a hurry! Then it was Kyle Korver. Then Ryan Sears. Now it's McDermott. They're still competitive and going to NCAA tourneys most years. They've stayed rather steady over the last ten to 15 years. Until they actually go in the tank, I find it difficult to predict they actually will.
  23. Sounds like what people were saying when we were in shouting distance and tied at Michigan and Michigan St. It happens.
