Crazy thought. But do you think we don't want games that we lost to end up being tier 1? If we are going to have 1 or 0 tier 1 wins, does it look better if we had fewer opportunities? I realize that those losses will technically be worse, and there are a lot of other reasons why this shouldn't make sense. But I just don't want the committee to look at our resume and say, "well they took care of all the teams they should, but they aren't capable of beating tournament caliber teams."

Jordy played well again. 6 points and 6 boards in 11 minutes. If we can continue to get that sort of production out of him that will be huge.

I am curious as to what Gill's 3 pt % is at home compared to the road. I don't have the numbers to back it up, but it seems like it has been more of a road vs home thing than a starter thing. We have just had a higher percentage of road games recently.

Evan Taylor needs to play Evan Taylor ball all of the time. Play great defense and hit the open three. He has played great tonight. Most unselfish play of the game was him taking a foul when there was a pretty easy open dunk for an Iowa guy. We weren't in the bonus so it saved us some points (4 seconds left on the shot clock for those looking back on dvr, not ideal to foul with 4 seconds on the shot clock, but not his fault)

If you look at the changes Lincoln has made as a whole it is absolutely worth it. The haymarket is now attracting young successful companies which bring great talent into Lincoln. We are attracting some of the best concerts in the nation, and the arena brings tons of economic development. I know the OP was about a slightly different issue, but the money mostly came from the city (restaurant and hotel tax) and I think that if you look at it from a completely economic and city development side that the arena is a complete success. And we have quite a bit to show for it, just look at the new Hudl headquarters for example, not happening without all of the changes in the haymarket, and the arena was the spark that started the fire.

Make a compromise, just make sure you get something good out of the deal.

Anybody looked at the after market ticket prices? I'm shocked, about 100 tickets left on stub hub, going for a minimum of about $60.
