At this point id love to have a shot at any of those three at a neutral site. It's too be determined whether it's a blessing or a curse that we had to play all three on the road.

I haven't been this frustrated since the Purdue game. Should have beaten both of them. Probably a reason that it's the top two teams in the big ten, but man would it have been good to win one. And close losses won't even be a thought to the committee.

I have now heard this announcer say "This is just like a boxing match, they keep throwing punches at each other" three times in the last 10 days....

On one of those halftime highlights it looked like Tate through a pretty good hand at Glynns body after the ball went through the hoop

JPJ needs to continue to go to the rack. 3-3 from inside and 1-6 from 3. Plus he can draw more fouls. Also I realize it isn't easy, we are just going to have to battle and get to the rack.

That's true, plus getting some confidence inside usually works it's way outside. Attack the basket and play good D, that's how we will win

I agree, last night was awesome, and I hope we can continue to do that. But our defense wins us that game even if we don't shoot that well. In theory if we miss two of the two point shots and two of the three point shots to give us a fairly pedestrian 47% from the field and under 30% from three we still would have won by ten points.

I figured I'd start a place to talk about the Ohio state game. I'm currently watching the BTN in 60 of days minutes Northwestern vs OSU game. OSU cannot deal with the 1-3-1 zone that Northwestern is throwing at them, and the announcers were commenting on how they don't have a ton of ball handlers. If NW was able to frustrate them like that we should be able to do the same, we are much more athletic than they are. We are most likely not going to win by outshooting them (it's possible, but I wouldn't game plan that way), but we have a decent shoot of beating them if we play great defense and shut them down.
