This has been a pet peeve of mine ever since I was a student trying to tell the others to shut the f up. Also we only get “really” loud when we have a chance to win a $2 chicken sandwhich…. We should be that loud for any free throw that is important in the game. Other than my two “old man yells at cloud” thoughts, we have a pretty damn good home court advantage, and we need to keep it up

I normally get very frustrated with our reluctance to play guys with two fouls in the first half, and also to call timeouts during the run of the game. Both of those things ended up working out heavily in our favor at the end of the game. Gotta give credit where it is due

For as many odd plays as he sometimes makes, and some of the mixed reaction on here, Berke can have massive impacts on the game. His size and athleticism just changes things on defense for us.

My vote is for Deion Sanders!

I don’t care if they are a bad three point shooting team. They are Power 5 talent level basketball players. If you leave them wide open they will make them. The defensive energy is not the same as it was last game

I think these talking heads goals are more about views and engagement than it is about accuracy.

-Always a pleasure to watch the best to ever do it. Nice work as always Jeffrey -Brice and Juwan played like they have to if we want to have a chance in this league. -Sam made a great play to slow up the fast break that allowed Juwan to block it at the end -Not sure the numbers, but I’ve got to believe we have a pretty good record when Cale gets in the game -Most of Illinois made threes were when we had an on ball defender. I don’t think our system is the problem, we just need to be better guarding on the ball -We have lost 3 or 4 games we should have won this year. Give us 2 or 3 games we shouldn’t win and we are right back in this thing -GBR forever

I have a good feeling about tonight. Play excellent defense. Let that defense get us out in transition. Score points where we don’t have to beat them in our half court offense.
