I figured it beat the very exhausted yakkety sax bit.

with the WHO now issuing a "global pandemic" alert, expect more of this. most of the loot's in tv anyway, so they can play without crowds and maybe play an old sitcom laugh track in the background.
-
and to help put their suffering fanbase out of its misery. oh wait, that's the actual truth. sorry!
-
how long before they pop out of the locker room suited up for the 2d half? truly must see tv.

even better when banks blocks for the jet sweep at the 3 pt line. i mean, if we're going to lose, let's at least be entertaining about it.

he's got 5 fouls in him, and that always has value, especially if you're being blown out anyway.

part of it was that season was turning out to be really special. we had no idea going in what we had on our hands with that team and to make that run to the tourney for the first time in so many years, and by this game it was pretty obvious we were going in, a good season in spite of being mismatched against an under-seeded Baylor team. last really fun year of NU hoops. and Miles was looking like a miracle worker. what an promising beginning to that story, eh?

just think of it as practice for when automation really takes your job. someday KenPom bot will rule the world. Hail Skynet!

right now, any streak we're likely to have will prominently involve the letter, 'L'. Let's just take our luggage of perpetual sorrow and shuffle our way to the next station of pain. -

we get better players soon or the beatings continue. everyone says we have them. for the sake of this fanbase, I hope so, because we don't need just a little improvement. We need a ton. -

good thing I decided to go out for the day. feel for those of you who stuck around for this beating. also wish the conference would just let us raise the white flag on the tourney instead of having to go get another beatdown with our traveling JUCO all stars practice squad.. -

probably going to root for the clock to go a lot faster. what a circle jerk. but another reminder that all the talent in the world--not that this applies here literally--means little if it's attached to a two-legged nuke. -
Cam's got a knack for melodrama. SO maybe there's an alternative career in there somewhere.
-
It's not really a "defense" of Mack, but as a notorious late-bloomer myself, sometimes it takes a little longer for the right switches to flip into the "on" position for some folks. Cam's still pretty young, so there's time for him to turn things around. JUCO guys, no matter how good they are at that level, are rarely high end Div 1 players in the longer run. And the adjustment has to be brutal for guys with expectations like Cam had. Hopefully he gets some maturing done in the offseason as well as re-calibrating his sense of place in things. I always hope our players have a good experience playing in Husker red.

i personally don't see anyone with any more potential than the 3 close calls we just had, and nobody on the active roster now is even close. the thing about the B1G is that the top half teams all seem to have 1 or 2 marginal NBA talents plus a G-league or 2 candidate. It's a brutal conference to compete in, no doubt, and recruiting to win in it has to be terrifying to even a good coach. I'm down on this team, but I think Hoiberg's a solid coach. But Wooden couldn't win with these guys. -

not following score. are we down a gazillion yet? -
this one kinda has "mauling" written all over it. But then again, with this bunch, you never know.
-
holy cow, still a chance to keep my top 10 streak alive in spite of the fact that I tuned out on this team about 22 games ago. that's almost---unjust.
