this kinda has slaughter written all over it. 15 pt spread seems pretty optimistic. And we have to be tired as hell right now. Regardless, it's unlikely this is the game to break the dreaded streak, which is about the only point left in this season.

getting blown out by opponents shooting under 30 percent from the field is really distressing. we're getting teams' D game and still getting crushed. We might need another word stronger than "rebuild" for this.

he got away with a pretty blatant one there. fortunately, we're managing to lose this on our own without any extra help.

can't get too wrapped up in what's essentially a pre-season exhibition game in terms of playing level. just going to be one of those seasons for teams that can't manage to stay on he court. NU needs to be in a position to take on a team coming off a long layoff after we've played for a few weeks straight. that might be what we need to break this ludicrous streak of suck. at this point, i'll be happy to reset the sh*t odometer if we do nothing else this season.

given that contract, they're going to give big Al every inch of rope they can to succeed. I think Zay's safe in the NBA for awhile at some level. He's played too well for a bench piece to get relegated to the G-league or whatever it's called these days.

I'm sold now that he belongs in the league. He's improving, clearly willing to put in the work to be better, and is obviously talented enough to be there. We have a really nice ambassador for the program in the NBA for the first time in a long time. That's a source of joy for this fan.

12 people down with this sh*t. that's pretty much the entire team infected. that's the problem with bubbles--all it takes is one pin. Get better, but don't rush things. this is just a game. dying of covid certainly isn't, as anyone working an ICU will somberly tell you. it's a horrifying demise. and take this time to improve your bubble immensely before even attempting to try this trick again.

Second chance points were the game. I read: 16-3 IU. That's a pretty big spot on points.

They gave a pretty good effort, but still too many chinks in the armor. Also, as pointed out, not an especially good Hoosier team, so there's only so much room to swing pom poms around. Guessing a couple more roster changes--even at the top (seeing why Huggie and Allen divorced)--from putting the team on the court most of us actually want to see. IU's going to finish near the bottom of the league this year, so finding out who we *can* best is going to be a challenge. But you have to love this conference. It's an absolute bloodbath between a lot of good teams. And how happy do Michigan's fans have to be right now? Ol' Juwan Howard's got it going on.
