Pre open scrimmages amd exhibitions, I had him pegged around 8 or 9 pts. After getting more info he was either my leading scorer or second, cant remember. But it would have been closer to 15 points than 17.

What if we get some wild scenario where Illinois/Iowa upsets Michigan and Maryland/Wisconsin upset Mich St? Then we could make assumption that our QF and SF opponents are both playing their third game in a row. No reason to lose either of those games. Add on a finals match against an Ohio State team that is cooling off (and one we were close to beating on the road when they were hot) and I would say thats some much deserving luck for a cursed program. A very unlikely scenario, but just one of many ways this thing could play out.

Not to over look our first game or even assume Mich St makes it to the semis, but is their 5 star freshman still out?? Jackson is his last name I believe.

*Losing doesnt matter to the ppl who have absolutely no control over who gets in and who is left out. We have no idea what matters to the ppl who actually matter aka selection committee.

The good thing is that all the teams ahead of us in Lunardis listings are all playing games that they have a decent to great shot at losing.

Make the finals and we are securely in the first round of the NCAA (no play in game).

One thing i do know is that Nana sure does enjoy himself in those celebratory dancing circles after a dub.

So what we know is that the Huskers lose 50 minutes a game at the gaurd spot (Anton and Evan Taylor). I would assume Allen gets an increase of 10-15 min per game. Which leaves 35-40 min a game for Nana, Thor, X, and whoever else we might sign battle over.

Id say its an indicator that one of three (Nana, Thor, or Palmer) wont be back. But who knows. Miles and Co. could just see something really special in this kid.

Dont follow Oklahoma enough, but assuming Creighton loses to Nova and on the road @ Marquette, IF they lose their first BE tourney game i could see them as out. That would put them at like a 1-8 finish or something like that.

One pet peeve i have with Palmer is he never passes the ball on fast breaks even when we have numbers. Ive seen countless 2 on 1, 3 on 2, and even 3 on 1s where hes leading the break and refuses to dish it to the man trailing. Could be remembering it wrong but it seems like it happens alot with him.

Anybody wanna take a gander on how a win versus Kansas would have helped our RPI?? I think that one hurts more bc we actually had a chance to win. UCF took it to us from the start and was in control the whole game.

Imagine how many of you on here would lose your f-ing minds if Nebraska had a solid record, played a real good schedule, and beat a handful of top teams and got passed on for a tourney bid for a team with a good record, no great wins to speak of, but passed the "eye test".
