  1. For me, the issue isnt that KD left but who he joined. He joined the team that put together the best regular season in NBA history. Not only that, but the team that he and his own team blew a 3-1 lead against. And in that blown series, KD absolutely crumbled under the pressure. From a competitive stand point that just tells you so much about him in my opinion. That is why I dont like him.
  2. But yall hate Andrew White for leaving Nebraska and going to Syracuse to play for a better team/program. ??
  3. Mine are not nearly as exciting: but Khyri Thomas and Justin Patton. Im also only 22.
  4. No he would not. To use a football example (im assuming they are the same rules), Noah Vedral had to come as a walkon to Nebraska from UCF. But even though he wasnt on scholarship he still wasnt going to be eligible to play the upcoming season. He later won an appeal to be on scholarship during his RS transfer year.
  5. Looks like we will have a schedule where 18-14 could get us in the tourney like Bama, Texas, etc last year.
  6. JR put too much henny in his gatorade bottle at half time or something ?
  7. Hot take from somebody who probably doesnt watch a lot of NBA. Two of the last 4 teams (Boston and GS) left in the playoffs play GREAT team bball. And alot of you on here cried and complained all season about collegiate reffing so lets not act like its just an NBA problem. Lastly, have you seen LeBrons teammates?? They dont make clutch plays and apparently dont even know the score in gm 1 of the NBA finals. Cant blame him for not trusting them.
  8. Jr was too lit lol. "I thought we were up 1" ???
  9. I dont think that will be the case next year. Philly is going to be a Top 5 team in the NBA next year and the Celtics, if they are healthy, have a realistic chance to be the best team in the NBA.
  10. I think it will be interesting to see how the scoring averages out. 4 different guys that can put up 15-20 any given night. If I am Miles, I am preaching team ball over and over and over. Whats good for the team is good for the individual. Dont worry about your averages just focus on your weaknesses and the scouts will find you.
  11. They accomplished nothing in reality. Banners do not get hung for 22 wins and top 4 finishes. They get hung for conference championships and tournament appeareances/deep runs. This team should still feel they have PLENTY to prove.
  12. Yes. Tested well at the combine and shot up to low to mid first round pick
  13. Watson, Copeland, Roby, and Palmer are locks to start. Each probably averaging 28-32 minutes over the course of the season. Maybe more depending on how the underclassmen develop. That leaves 80 extra minutes left up for grabs. My guess is Jordy and Thomas Allen combine for 45 of those. Now you have 35 left over for Thor, Nana, Amir, Tanner, Karrington Davis, and Brady Heiman to duke it out over. Should be some good practices.
  14. Shooting always gives you a chance to play.
  15. Its a shame CP3 went out after the Rockets got the 3-2 lead
  16. Chalk it up to the team with the best basketball player in th world on it won. Lue made so many head scratching decisions. I know most of you dont wanna hear it bc hes one of ours but this wasnt a good series for him. Not saying he isnt a good coach --> for example Toronto series he was pretty great.
  17. 202... Gonna need about 25 more to play the 4 and about 35-40 more to play the 5.
  18. Thats a GREAT final if Kyrie is healthy. Kyrie, Harden, and Paul all have their own fans. Boston has a big fanbase. I think Houstons fans are good (big city right?). Plus you would get the ppl who were bored of Lebron-Warriors and excited to see fresh teams. Kyrie being out hurts bc it raises alot of questions on whether they can be competitive. But hey theyre proving everybody wrong so far.
  19. Hockey is more exciting imo as a fan. Not huge into either tho. NHL does have quiet the storyline going for their final. Expansion team v. An all time great player who finally got over the hump
  20. Who ever thought a Celtics team that was 1-4 on the road in the playoffs was gonna beat LeBron twice in Cleveland... idk about them man. Warriors sweeping the Rockets? Ehh i wouldnt have argued with that. Rocket showed alot about their heart and toughness last night; something that i personally was questioning.
  21. Oldest player in the conference finals and playing great. Lights out shooter and always in the right place type of defense this series.
  22. Good for him. Im a huge track guy but kinda wish he spent the spring in the weight room packing on weight and muscle.
  23. Stevens is much better than Doc and TLue
  24. KJ Scott (Omaha Benson/Omaha Central) is transferring from Texas Southern. Immediately eligible. Had 19 against North Carolina in the tourney a couple years ago. Maybe UNO?
  25. Yes but i think his was more bc he was 6'6 at like age 15/16 and shot up to 7'1 over the summer (similiar to Anthony Davis). He had a really late growth spurt and needed an extra year for his coordination, strength, and weight to adjust
