  1. FIve starters in double figures. Bench gives you 19. Solid all around.
  2. Four points. Could be one voter had us at No. 22, or two voters had us at No. 24. Like that.
  3. Jack McVeigh reacts to the "news."
  4. Among many, these from my time in Lincoln: 1978 home win versus Kansas 1981 home win versus Kansas 1982 home win versus No. 1 Missouri 1983 NIT Third Round win versus TCU 1984 First Round NIT 56-54 win at Creighton
  5. Andrew White III left early with a bruised ego.
  6. How did you get exclusive video from the final Rebounders Club meeting with Doc Sadler?
  7. And play one of those bitches on the road. Just for the hell of it.
  8. If we don't make it at 14-4, 23-9, then we crush the NIT, bring everybody back and add Mike Daum, schedule the shit out of everybody and take it all next year. Who's with me?!?!?!!!!
  9. So how much longer is Richie Pitino still a ... you know ... head coach?
  10. I can't assess Palmer's readiness for the league, but I see Copeland a lot like Vincent Edwards, who was third-team all-conference last year as a junior, a 6-8 forward who can score from 3 or in close, and who grabs a few rebounds when needed. I think Copeland is just starting to emerge from his injury-riddled funk, and with another year in Lincoln could be the player Edwards is this year for Purdue.
  11. Hoppen from the line: 77 percent for his career, 80 percent as a senior. Hopp > Happ
  12. No worries. You're absolutely correct. Scary either way. Great questions.
  13. You used both "rational" and "nuanced" in 2018 America. Good for you, Norm.
  14. If the tournament had been 64-68 teams back before the mid-'80s, those '66, '78 and '83 teams might have done some NCAA damage. Damn.
  15. We need @huskerbaseball13's take as much as we need anyone else's. It's important to hear from a broad range of opinions, and his is often sharp but necessary. Here's to the eternal optimists, here's to the eternal pessimists, and here's to everyone in between. We all care about Nebrasketball more than anyone probably should. 16. He may measure 2.11 meters, but he plays closer to 2.08. Am I right?
  17. OSU fades. NU surges. Painter or Miles.
  18. Well, if we win out (14-4) and OSU splits its last eight games (four on the road), they're 13-5, and we're at least the three seed. If MSU loses three more and finishes the same, we can be the two seed. OSU road games: @ Purdue, @ Penn State, @ Michigan, @ Indiana. MSU losable games: vs. PSU, @ Indiana, @ Iowa, vs. Purdue, @ Minnesota, @ Northwestern, @ Wisconsin So I'm saying we have a chance.
  19. Here's to optimism. (And talent.)
  20. Agreed. But the head-to-head has to go our way. I can see that as a huge game for our chances. If come out of that 11-4 or 10-5 in the conference with head-to-head wins against both Maryland and Michigan, we're in good shape with a 2-1 finish.
  21. ESPN Win Probability was 7.4 percent when Wisconsin took 55-44 lead at 9:58. (92.6 percent Wisconsin)
