Yesterday wanted me to help Breidenbach and Wilcher pack their bags for them BUT in a the college world, consistency and guys who know the system is key. I so badly want WB to figure it out. He just looks like Bambi on ice. Wilcher decision making is so frustrating. Yesterday was so frustrating. But that can’t take away that this team played their butt off all year. I want to see a lot of these guys back. But we need depth and we need to replace Greisel and Walker. Many seem to think Ramel Lloyd can replace Griesel. I don’t think we can expect Breidenbach/Kojenets/Keita to replace Walker. They can all help but none of them seem to have the passing ability. Hopefully the Wofford transfer takes a look at us. Still think we need to add another shooter.. not a spot shooter unless we feel we can improve our ability to drive. I really hope they change the NIL rules so we can dangle some $$$$ in front of Keisei. As of now, we have two scholarships. I bet at least 2 more open up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think guys stepped up when given the opportunity. That being said, I think Hoiberg has lacked depth on his bench. Guys who stepped up don’t have a lot of guys behind them pushing but also think we saw it in the MsU game, they got tired. That level of defensive intensity wears on you. I think we would have seen those three guys you named get some more minutes to give the others a breather. I hope this off-season we can add more depth guys who play hard. No problem running out 9-10 guys a night who play with intensity. That being said, I think we will see this catch up with us in the B1G tourney. By day 3 we are going to have tired legs. We will add a new coach and get new recruits or transfers that way. Matt seemed like a great add but outside of a few flashes in the pan this team talent hasn’t turned into anything. They both sign and the Bryce doesn’t come here and we still finish last…. Hypotheticals will kill your soul. Yes it’s a bummer but I think our struggles as a team are much more than the talent, it’s work ethic/drive/team cohesion. Until we figure that out, just adding a bunch more talent is a bandaid. I would assume they hire another recruiting focused coach. And would we be? Last time I checked this team ISNT winning games. I get we get some high caliber players here but outside of some individual stats, it isn’t working. Can it really get much worse? I would rather get a bunch of 3 stars who want to bust their ass. I worked at 1620 for a short period of time and Severe was one of the few guys who basically ignored me. He wasn’t a “diva” but he wasn’t really friendly. Never been a huge fan. John bishop(even though he is a blue Jay) is a great dude. Damon Benning is also a great guy. I would say most Nebraska media is somewhat thin skinned but so is the fan base.
