They both sign and the Bryce doesn’t come here and we still finish last…. Hypotheticals will kill your soul. Yes it’s a bummer but I think our struggles as a team are much more than the talent, it’s work ethic/drive/team cohesion. Until we figure that out, just adding a bunch more talent is a bandaid. I would assume they hire another recruiting focused coach. And would we be? Last time I checked this team ISNT winning games. I get we get some high caliber players here but outside of some individual stats, it isn’t working. Can it really get much worse? I would rather get a bunch of 3 stars who want to bust their ass. I worked at 1620 for a short period of time and Severe was one of the few guys who basically ignored me. He wasn’t a “diva” but he wasn’t really friendly. Never been a huge fan. John bishop(even though he is a blue Jay) is a great dude. Damon Benning is also a great guy. I would say most Nebraska media is somewhat thin skinned but so is the fan base. I have no inside information and mostly just reading all the stuff you have said in Bolton but here are my thoughts: Where there is smoke there is fire. My guess is Bolton might not have been liked at PSU if the guys liked Chambers but that isn’t Bolton’s fault that Chambers said something inappropriate to him and he decided not to be around that. The post above me about being forced out to make room for a top 50 Recruit also makes sense. I don’t think we should pass on guys who maybe need to grow up a bit. We took a flyer with Kobe King— it didn’t workout but shows we will. Also took a shot with Teddy. My hope is these kids realize they won’t get many more chances and will straighten up or that we have a strong foundation to help kids know the expectations Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I would take Robbins. Not sure how that would work with our current depth chart but once he got comfortable he was really good for them. He honestly strikes me as a guy who could help an Iowa type team. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My guess is Doc is probably fully onboard. He can still help game plan and I believe coach during practice. He doesn’t have to worry about recruiting. Fred and Doc seem to have a great relationship and I doubt this was something that Doc wasn’t onboard with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
