was expecting tim miles 7pm show for some reason (should have known traveling), but, had matt and the coach on. didn't really learn too much. she stated her and the coaches need to do a better job. stressing good, hard practices, but, also knowing a limit to not wear down the players. believes the injuries and illness have slowed down progress----and, of course, the obvious, youth.

the simon/clark reference came up briefly. may be reading a little too much into what little was said, but, get the feeling as soon as simon can go, may see clark's minutes diminish.

was a nice havers-matt interview. discussed a bit on how she embraces being a role model for kids. talked about how she has put on weight through strength conditioning. enjoys photography and hopes to pursue that.

As for Simon and Clark I would rather invest playing time in a true freshmen with a great up side then an inconsistent 5th year senior.

Even though you may get more freshman type mistakes from Simon I think her size, athleticism, attitude and positive learning curve will pay off in the long run.

It's not like the rest of the team has been very consistent.

Just watched Arizona beat California.  Arizona women were picked to finish last in the Pac 12 this year.  It was Arizona's second upset in a row and California's second defeat in a row.  They were picked to finish 4th in the league.  California only had 8 suited up and after leading the whole game they just ran out of gas and lost.  I guess most teams have some kind of issues from time to time and I guess it's how you finish that counts.

When the Huskers played Cal didn't they only play 7. I watched No. Florida over the holidays and they only had 7 suited up at home.
