AuroranHusker Posted October 29, 2015 Report Posted October 29, 2015 The newcomers look like they're "family" already. Good to see that the freshmen are coming together. Good sign for this group of young men to lean on one another as they all adjust to college life and Div. 1 hoops. HuskerFever Posted October 29, 2015 Report Posted October 29, 2015 Let the height speculation based on the photo begin! Based on the angle that the photo was taken and the angle of the shadows, Watson is clearly at least 6'7". Silverbacked1, Norm Peterson and hhcmatt 3 Quote
Norm Peterson Posted October 29, 2015 Report Posted October 29, 2015 Let the height speculation based on the photo begin! It looks like Ed Morrow has his arms around Jacobson and McVeigh like he's being assisted off the floor. OMG, ED MORROW MUST BE HURT!!! But we have no right to speculate. Damn. This is a dilemma. I'm going with turf toe. But it would be nice if his parents would at least tell us what's wrong with the poor dear. (Not saying they HAVE to. Just, y'know, throw us poor fans a bone every now and then. AmIright? ) fr8-train and atskooc 1 1 Quote
jimmykc Posted October 29, 2015 Report Posted October 29, 2015 The obvious answer to the height issue is that according to the theory of relativity, Australia, being on the opposite side of the globe, is closer to the center of the earth-which is where all the gravity is stored. Therefore McVeigh's body is squished down when he is at home and taller when he is in the northern hemisphere. I would estimate him as being 6'10 in Nebraska, and he will probably be a seven footer if we can schedule a game in Iceland. See, when we apply the laws of internet logic everything is easy to understand. Quote
