We have two Gatorade Player of the Year winners coming in this next season as Jess was named the two previous NE Gatorade POY prior to this one and Maddie this year's recipient. We're losing one in Brandi Jeffery, but in the known recruits that we're recruiting for the 2016 class there are 3 of them who won their home states Gatorade POY.

Went to high school with Maddie for a couple of years. One of the nicest girls I have met, really athletic (watch her run hurdles, she is fast and athletic), and great ball player. Her entire family is an athlete haven. I believe two (one for sure) of her older brothers actually ran track at UNL too. Her and her whole family are pure class.

Her mother also ran track at UNL. Maddie is extremely athletic and could have also done track in college and maybe even soccer.

Guess I have never seen her play golf.  She could probably do that as well.  Athletic enough kid that whatever she put her mind to she could probably do in college.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think she was on varsity for the Pius Golf Team this year.  I could be wrong, but I thought that was her fall sport.
