Norm Peterson Posted February 19, 2015 Report Posted February 19, 2015 Can't this program get a break? Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted February 19, 2015 Report Posted February 19, 2015 We seem to have hd several. Quote
huskerchode Posted February 19, 2015 Report Posted February 19, 2015 Apparently not this season. Feel especially bad for our seniors. The effort is there but too many injuries, and shooting woes. Rachel will be back probably stronger than ever next season. Quote

Silverbacked1 Posted February 20, 2015 Report Posted February 20, 2015 I will say too long, but the next time I go on vacation I will stay at a Holiday Inn Express so I can then be able to know for sure. Bugeaters1 1 Quote
whoopdeedoo Posted February 20, 2015 Report Posted February 20, 2015 just glad they got Rachel's diagnosis and repaired the injury. shame the seniors won't finish with Rachel, but, it is what it is. on to rehab and get ready for next year. Silverbacked1 1 Quote
Cazzie22 Posted February 20, 2015 Report Posted February 20, 2015 Sad news. Lady Huskers are not the same team without her and I doubt they get selected for the NCAA's unless they can beat IU on the road and both OSU and Minnesota at home. That is doubtful. Committee will have to look at the end of the season and NU is just not playing that well. I hope I'm wrong. Quote

So that means 2 wins in the at least 4 games left. Quote

Committee will have to look at the end of the season and NU is just not playing that well. I hope I'm wrong. If we beat IU there, and both OSU and Minnesota at home, we're in without even winning a game in the Big 10 tournament. If we drop one of those, we're still in with a win in the tourney. I still think we'll get in, but the seed will be a problem. There will be some reward for scheduling the nonconference slate, to offset a relatively poor finish. 21 gets us in for sure; perhaps 20.
