Huskers might schedule a game between 2018 B1G tourney and the NCAA tourney. The B1G tourney will be held before the Big East tourney and there will be an 11 game break.

Scheduling game after the Big Ten Conference Tourney, but before the NCAA Tourney? Is there a precedence for this type of thing anywhere else?  I've never heard of that before.

I think I saw on twitter that potentially Saint Mary's did that in the past.

We'd be looking at a Mid-Major or lower type squad. I don't think we'd schedule another conference game.

i liked miles qoute about benny, ive seen those highlights before, and always thought itd be neat to give benny a look in spring ball just to see hey can he do it. Im all for Moses Starting and bringing Walt of the bench, might help.

Would really like to see Fuller play just a bit at some point. He seems to spend a little bit too much time in the paint just shifting around during the end of blowouts, so just tell him to sit in the corner and bury the trey ball.

 

I understand he may be a little bit slow on defense, but the Creighton game just shows the lack of shooting on this team vastly needs an improvement.

I had also watched that video awhile back. He looks so fast it looks they turned the camera speed up. Really cool to see. Wasn't he like a track star also?

Interesting to read that Tim and Greg McDermott spoke on Monday to bounce ideas off each other and give each other tips on how to make each other's teams better.  Greg said they have done that every time and that it was nothing new.

Miles told Greg he isn't his Daddy until CU beats NU 13 times in a row....really hope that doesn't happen.

They basically rose up the ranks at the same time.  I don't know that they're besties or anything but they have a pretty good professional relationship

Today's OWH.  Here it is:  McDermott said he and Nebraska Coach Tim Miles talked on Monday.  "We bounced some things off each other about things we can do to make our teams better." McDermott said.  "We've done that every year, so it's not atypical."  The two men are good friends, and McDermott said he didn't try to needle Miles about improving to 11-0 in their coaching matchups. "He told me I'm not his daddy until we win 13 in a row," McDermott said, laughing. "It's all in good fun."

 

Perhaps Tim is giving Greg too many good ideas and Greg is giving Tim some bad ones?  Just kidding.  Perhaps.

I'm glad to see Coach Miles and a few others use the "daddy" reference I first used on this board regarding our last game. Not that it was that original, but at least I gave credit to Pedro as the originator of the phrase. I wonder how many of these guys visit this board on occasion, and also how many of them are Red Sox fans, since I was quick to point out what happened in the rivalry after Mr. Martinez made the quote.
