HAHA love the optimism.... Honestly... 4-1 was half what I was expecting right now... possibly 3-2. I think we were cold shooting and ran into a hot shooting Kent State team. I still thought think we are going to be ok this year as we wont shoot like this every game.

Seems like there's been a lot of complaining in the Husker camp about the Thanksgiving weekend and sloppiness thereof. In football, volleyball, and now men's basketball.

Although it's going to be tough to come back, it's theoretically possible for us to make up four possessions in three minutes. Let's do this!

The difference is, the football and volleyball teams still won.

well, a good preview of the next few months. hopefully the guys keep pushing and learning.

kent's got some decent players. i did think it would be a little closer--didn't see the shooting woes being this bad--but all in all, not unexpected.

I love how everyone just writes off the next few months because we lost the first game. Woo Hoo we lost a game, it was not unexpected. I believe that we will have a chance to win most if not all of the remaining games. Sure we will lose some, and sure we will get blown out in a few, but these guys will have the attitude that they think they can win every game.

this is where fans will have to be patient. doc would have had this game closer because of his system, but that system was hell on recruiting. hopefully miles just takes his lumps and plays how he wants to play two years from now.

dreading that CU game, tho, after watching them last night.

I hope your right that we win more than we lose, but the Big 10 is going to be very difficult this year. I'm hoping for four conference wins this year. We are going to struggle only having 2 players come off the bench with one of them a JC walk-on transfer who just came on campus a couple months ago.

woulda been nice to win.

Have to admire Talley and Ubel....they don't have any help....I mean none whatsoever.

this year isn't about wins and losses anyways

this. i expected either almeida or gallegos to get the third batch of points, and we'll need that to be competitive. but yeah, the drop between the Ubel and Talley and everyone else is sizeable.

Gallegos can score. He was off tonight. No need to overreact. He'll be back

He just didnt look confortable or confident shooting the rock tonight. Hopefully he doesnt lose that, and he keeps his head up. We will need his points.
