I don't think we need to worry about a Michigan State tiebreaker ;)

Let's say we get in a tie breaker with Purdue and we have split our home-home for the season.  Wouldn't the next tie breaker be how each team fared against the Big Ten champion?

With Purdue's remaining schedule, I don't think we get close to tying unless we lose to them, which would be a mute point on the tiebreaker.   Minnesota has a difficult schedule too.

Just for kicks, I predicted out the Big Ten schedule and had NU ending up as a 6th seed at 9-9.  Playing Penn St in the 1st round, then facing a #3 seed Ohio St.

It's very hard for me to see a way to finish out higher than that, even if we finish 10-8.  On the other hand, 2 home wins this week would put us in a position where it will be tough for us to finish lower than 6th.  That would be our first upper division finish since '99.
