Can't recall the question but on the way home, listening to the post-game, they asked Miles something about the combinations of players he can put out there on the floor and, with a little reluctance in his voice, Miles said "We're still a big away."  We need that guy who can reliably catch that post entry pass, wheel and score.  But I really like the way we can switch defensive assignments, especially with the new rules that limit your defense.

Maybe that big will come in the form of Kareem Abdul Serge.

OK, so maybe that hook wasn't really a sky hook, but it was still cool.  ;)

Wow...back home...wow...that was fun!!!!!!!!!!!

Did I mention, wow!

That was insanely fun!

Agreed, wow! If we have a long ways to go before we are a cohesive unit as Miles has stated. I will take it! I thought we looked great, had chemistry and our overall athleticism has skyrocheted! Only one game, but I think our future looks very, very, very bright!

Plus this is a game style and arena recruits will want to play in!

I concur with all these sentiments.  Wow.  Just, the whole deal was amazing.

I got down to the Haymarket about 4 o'clock and there were already tons of fans milling around (admittedly, probably most of them were at the Women's game, but still).  The whole energy around The Railyard and the whole Haymarket was astounding!  I got extremely lucky and was able to park on the street in the Haymarket, so I can't speak to all that this time around.

My first time in the Arena, and I must say there is nothing I'd change about it, aside from maybe turn down the P.A. system a little.

Two words kept running through my mind as I walked all they way around the place -- "Game" and "Changing".  Folks, this is going to do wonders for the program, the University, the city of Lincoln, and the whole state!  This whole project was done about as perfectly as it could.

The tailgating atmosphere before and after the game is phenomenal.  At the Devaney, the experience was drive in, park, watch the game, sit in traffic, go home.  But now with all there is on offer, this isn't just a game.  It's a night out!  Count me in as saying this is money very well spent!
