Easily my favorite message board of any I have ever been involved with in any sport or topic.  Great posters like Norm, 49r and many others make it a great board. 

 

I'd echo those sentiments, HHC is the only one that I've read & been tied to over the long haul.

Three things:

 

It didn't take long to see it was a group of guys that liked to chase off folks who weren't in the inner circle of long time posters here.

 

I've been on boards before that "run of noobs"  This isn't one of them.  If anyone gets run off here, it's people with attitude problems and fans of other teams who think it's ok to come troll here for their own amusement.

 

This site isn't also one of those football "cloak and dagger shit" sites.  I know there are guys here that know about what is going on with Ray.  I'm glad they aren't saying anything because this isn't the dig up shit on the Huskers site, this is THE Nebraska Basketball fan site.

 

 I decided it was more worth the time to keep my mouth shut on the details like why we have guys suspended

 

The above statement implies you know something.  It states nothing.

Stating that Tim Miles would maybe jump at the Minnesota job is a statement that cannot be proven and one anyone who knows anything about Miles could conjure up.

Stating that you know Tim Miles sister is a statement that you have not proven.

 

Be us.

You're some dude with a hotmail account.

You just pop up and claim to be an insider.  You very well might be.  However nothing you've said would give us any indication that you are.  Becoming defensive instead of informative when pressed for legitimacy doesn't help your case.

 

If you want to be taken seriously, be serious or at least build up some time on here.

PM me with who or what you are and if you check out, I'll back you up.

Or don't....though don't come here crying about it.

Thanks for taking the time to look into my account to see its from hotmail. Perhaps I don't like everyone knowing who I am privately. I'm who I say I am. What do you want me to say to prove it? Gee Tim's sister has lost about 50-60 lbs since spring as well as her hubby who was the former SD speaker of the house? Maybe you'd like to know they bought a monistary by Watertown just recently? Would that help prove I know his family? Good grief. And I'm pretty sure the crap I got from two other posters after the last one proves my point as well about mocking and running folks off (or at least keeping them from posting). I didn't come in here high and mighty. I gave a little info. Got jumped on...pushed back and now I'm the dick. Trust me this place isn't exactly front and center in Husker World so giving info on a free board isnt that huge. It happens on several popular football sites that are free. Its the way of the world now. Id say this place is about the equivalent of Husker Power Hour only difference is that it's free. Oh and they actually have boosters and folks close to the program posting good nuggets that aren't in the news for a day or two before it becomes public. I think places like this have the potential to be a very good source of inside information for that fan that wants it. I guess this place doesn't want to be that. Too bad. I feel like the basketball world is about to blow up and people will come looking for a place for that info just like they do for football.

There is no point for me to dig up anything about you, though unless you're extremely good it wouldn't be hard.  If you want to be completely anonymous, that's fine...most people here are and that's fine by me.  Just expect the belief in anything you say to come slowly, especially the more defensive you get about it.

 

If you have info to give that is "insider", give it, weather the storm, and then be validated when it does happen.  Do that a couple of times and I'm sure you'll have people reacting the way that you want them to.  Or just try posting non-dirt.  This deal where you make a claim and get bent out of shape gets real old real quick.

Nebrasketball is going to blow up.  I already know that.  To your point, should we want to populate this board with insiders it shouldn't be too hard for us to find people on the know who want to talk about it minus the baggage.

2Buck: Don't get so huffy about what people post here. I read most of the comments but don't really believe any of the "inside stuff" although I enjoy seeing the posts. And I am not griping about it being free. Would it make you appreciate the site more if we paid for it? Anyway, I consider it like a neighborhood bar where folks do know one another and can all chime in with their opinions for what they are worth, whether ill-informed or not. So feel welcome here and post whatever you want. Now please tell us who really shot JFK.
