Miles just noted he flew in from Wichita from recruiting before the Iowa game...the team rode the bus.

Iowa is the only B1G school close enough to bus.

Completely agree.  We could get Ray 3 or 4 more wide open shots a game in transition if we worked harder at it.  Sometimes he's not in the right spots streaking on the breaks.

Miles' perspective is different than Doc's, re: kids getting their shot off in college as opposed to in high school.

 

He quoted/paraphrased the philosophy of Bobby Knight in terms of how to handle a kid who scored 25+ in high school but is maybe scoring 4-6 points now:  "How much did you score/play as a freshman in high school?"

If the Huskers lose in the championship game, they would probably become the first sub .500 team to make it.  Otherwise, I have to think record will outshadow our fine SOS and RPI
