Looking back maybe should of used a timeout since It was 5 on 3 i believe.  Could of had enough time to draw up a play that wasnt rushed.

I don't think it was rushed.  It looked like we ran our break and just missed the shot (maybe Connor rushed his shot a little bit).  I do wonder in that situation if you don't call the timeout just so you don't leave time on the clock.  We would have had 9 seconds out of a timeout.  Essegian was shooting with 7 seconds left so a made shot would have left like 5 seconds (too much time).  I suppose shooting early does give a team a 2nd chance (which we got with Berke).

Its a shot choice that will be debated.  If Connor hits that then who knows, or if Brice keeps it or a timeout is called and they hit a shot who knows.  All they had to do was hit one or 2 shots down that stretch and it wouldnt have come down to this unfortunately.

Yeah, I am not a fan on dwelling on the last shot (although when it is made it is somewhat sweet).  Rather, perhaps we dwell on the missed bunnies, the missed free throws and the plethora of missed open look shots.  Just saying...

I didn’t mind finding the trailer, that’s a quality shot. At the time I did think Brice could have gotten one step deeper before kicking it out and that might have given Connor more time and space to get set for the shot, and be right at the 3 pt line rather than a few feet behind it. But that’s nit picking because Connor has that range.

On a lighter note I'm at White Elm tonight and they have a beer called "Cordially Yours" which is an Imperial Stout aged in some sort of cherry barrel.  I mention this as it has the taste, alcohol content, and damn near the thickness of Cherry NyQuil.

No issues with Brice passing to Connor on last shot. No way was DJ, Kelly or other ref (Michael) going to call a foul if

Brice took it to hoop. They called a foul on Rollie defending guy 30 feet from basket late in 2nd half and on ensuing possession Brice came down and took shot driving and he got shoved a helluva lot worse than Rollie bumped UM player. Was just a bad night for most of team to have bad shooting night.
