I wish who ever is responsible for the audio of these 10+ games would do their job and match up the output of the microphones so they would be equal loudness.  One one announcer is always about twice as loud as the other.  Everytime.

8-0 run at end of half gives us a 10 pt lead.  At least our newcomers can make free throws.  Not an impressive performance. Southern is not letting us get many open looks for threes.

Surprising that we are shooting 60% from the line. 9/15 I thought it was worse than that.

NU wins 84-58 with the help of 25 for 36 on FTs and nearly 50% from the field. Alexis (22 & 6) and Natalie (17 & 12) were the top two to lead the squad in points & rebounds tonight. Britt and Callin both had 4 assists while Logan had 3. Total team effort this evening for the #21 Huskers to tame the Southern Jaguars. GBR.

I was pleased to see a little more focus and intensity in the 2nd half.  Potts has been our most consistent player so far.  I believe Rimdal should start, she has been solid every game.  We still get careless with the ball and when we pick up our dribble in half court offense we have trouble executing a pass against pressure.  South Dakota will give us a real test prior to our Omaha visit.

Pleasantly surprised by what we have seen by Rimdal. Watched what I could find of her time at Florida and did not expect this from her. Case of her being in a place where she can show out. Agreed to her starting. She should have more time on the court. Looking at the box score Hake had 4 assists but also 4 turnovers. Would have Rimdal start in place of Hake.

although Rimdal didn't start, she played more minutes than anyone else.  I too was not all that impressed by either her video or her stats while at Florida, and am pleasantly surprised at her play so far. AW has the luxury of being able to choose from among four guards all of whom can be effective and to adjust playing time depending on the opponent and the flow of the game.
