I thought we defended poorly.  We allowed too much space.  When a team comes in shooting 50% (+) on the year....  I thought we should've been in 3 out zone and having the mentality of hammering whatever comes in your zone, ball or not.   That would have allowed help on Holmes, who really is just flat out good.  I did love what we did in the press at the end of the game.

I did like most of what we did offensively except, we need more things driving to the rack, at very least we'd get to the charity stripe

I only saw the 3rd quarter and some of the IU highlights from the first half, but your initial statement is spot on IMO.  Way to many wide open looks or unimpeded leisurely strolls to the hoop.  A team as good as IU will take advantage of those easy opportunities and bury you.

Despite the frustration of a less than stellar Husker effort today, it was an A+ experience for my pre-teen daughter and myself at PBA. Loved the Jordan Hooper pre-game moment, and if she doesn't have the greatest basketball player name, I'm not sure who else it might be. As always, GO BIG RED!

Did your daughter get Jordan's autograph?

NE 3 starting guards had same story this game on lack of scoring.   Only 14 points total versus 11 in the Wisconsin game.  They only had 6 assists versus 9 at WI.   Something needs to change with the offense.  Our guards are too slow to shoot and generally do not drive the ball to either score or get fouled.   Will likely be a long year unless things change.  Nissley needs to get in sooner.  Sets need to be set up for Potts.  Geez this B_ is getting old!

No, we didn't stick around afterwards. We needed to hit the road shortly thereafter.
I sit on the floor behind the women's bench and Jordan. Walk by me, and my WI should have shook her hand, but I didn't. And then she got swarmed with autographs and pictures Her brother played football for alliance high school, and I think when he was a senior they happened to be playing in Hastings, and Lindsay Moore, and Jordan Hooper showed up at the football game and everybody that I set with we've set on the opposing side. They're like, is that who that is I'm like. Yeah, that's who that is. And I didn't bugger than either

i didn't get to see the game.........but, when a team like indiana shoots over 60% fg and 3 pt'ers you are sunk. guess defense had a bit to do with that.

next up.
Not really, Indiana was just hot yesterday.
