I guess there is a shortage of *available* rooms in Lex.

Not that it matters, but I played small college ball & we often stayed in whatever housing was available on-campus for our longer road trips. It added to the experience, but maybe that's just me. Div. 1 athletes probably aren't used to being subjected to some 'brutal' treatment.

Well, Iowa got everything set up nearly perfectly for them coming into the NCAAs ... they handled their business vs UNC on day one and then they nearly got Wright St to beat Indiana St, too - let's see if they can take advantage against a pretty weak host today.

 

Maryland and Indiana probably need miracles today to stay in the winners brackets, but we'll see.

Wish I was at Wake right now because I would be right above the Maryland dugout screaming at them bye-bye because after they beat us the outfielder waved at our crowd.

also funny that they lose because they couldn’t play defense and they threw the asshat with the bread for the 29th time this year and they throw the ball into center field as the kid steals 2 in the bottom of the 9th to lose

And with that, we shut the door on the Big 10 season.  Big 10 playing baseball in Omaha in May and not June.

Just feels like the league had good momentum before Covid and that decision to play conference-only games in 2021 threw the entire league into the ditch.
