redsteve Posted November 5, 2024 Report Posted November 5, 2024 Watched the season opening game last night (11-4-24) between South Carolina-Michigan. It was a close game all the way. Impressed with the newest Michigan team. Looks like a they fielded a new and different roster. Pretty aggressive and competitive. Will be tough in the B1G On the other hand S Carolina has a few changes too, and don't look so dominate, but it's very early in the season. Quote

All About the Corn Posted December 9, 2024 Report Posted December 9, 2024 Watched the Iowa and Tenn. game from yesterday. Iowa lost by 10. Iowa has some work to do. They had 31 turnovers in the game. Affolter is not much of a offensive threat at this point. She had only two points and that was a open put back on a rebound in the middle of the 1st quarter. Their starters all played 28+ minutes with 3 over 30 minutes. Feel like Iowa will have some rough games this year. Quote
whoopdeedoo Posted December 13, 2024 Report Posted December 13, 2024 Minny got more bad news.....sophomore Taylor Woodson (transfer from Michigan) tore her ACL in a non-contact injury against Jackson State. it appears she will lose this season because of playing time. Quote
All About the Corn Posted December 21, 2024 Report Posted December 21, 2024 Watched Creighton go down to UCLA yesterday 70 to 41. Tough game for Jensen, 2-15 with 4 points. Quote

Bugeaters1 Posted December 30, 2024 Author Report Posted December 30, 2024 Michigan is giving USC everything they want right nowSent from my SM-S911U using Tapatalk Quote
All About the Corn Posted December 30, 2024 Report Posted December 30, 2024 Michigan still lost by 20 points. Both USC and UCLA will make the rest of the B1G adjust or be left behind. This is kind of what we saw in the old PAC12 with these tall athletic players. It's not getting any easier folks. Cazzie22 and whoopdeedoo 2 Quote
All About the Corn Posted January 2 Report Posted January 2 Michigan will be a tough win. They start three freshman. Olson and Swords will be handful. Quote

Maybe she saw the writing on the wall and wasn’t interested in coaching a team of mortals after losing her once in a generation player. Quote
Bugeaters1 Posted January 13 Author Report Posted January 13 I see that PSU is playing USC in LA. and then will play UCLA down in Long Beach. I wonder why Northwestern couldn't play in LA as well this weekend? Cazzie22 1 Quote
All About the Corn Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 Make it three straight losses for Iowa. Indiana beat in Iowa. Their best player was McCabe who played 35+ and scored 15 points coming off the bench. I hope we can add to their misery on Thursday. Quote

(not sure about that particular game) I think I heard a pro game was moved or canceled too. Quote
