Columbia is 0-4 having played Fresno St in a 4 game series.

Should have another win or two that we let slip away, but it was some stiff competition. 

 

Starting this weekend, we gotta start making up ground in the W-L column.

I am pleased with Perry's start and Schriber relief appearance thus far.  Pitching and defense are still our biggest weakness.

It wasn't pretty, but a win is win. Columbia's starter getting hurt was the game.

It sounds like we have been looking poorly at the plate.  Encouraged to see Tilitson and Shay pitch well.  Bragg was bringing in it in his appearance.  Pitching is key for us in the Big Ten.  We should get our share of wins allowing 3 or less runs.

Another bad call, but from the angle shown hard to know. But it looked like 1st baseman didn't

tag Acker.

Even the best (College) World Series teams will lose one every now and then in a 3 or 4 game series.

Next two are big, but Wichita St is a big weekend.  We have to steal one or two there.  Can't go 0-3 again.

It is a four game series next weekend. With the two midweek games against Northern Colorado, itll be interesting to see how the pitching holds up with that many games.

Losing Stroh this early has been a huge hit.  Big factor in 4 game series.
